ah Cesium was my most fancied, let me down very badly, Soviet could have had it, Vulcanite currently touching 11/1, thought he would be a lot shorter ???
I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

Papageno is a NR so I'll opt for Bothy @ Cheltenham in the last. My nap would be street power now

Donn Mc Clean on Off the Ball last night was asked for his favourite national hunt and flat horse?

He said Dawn Run for the National hunt, expounding the glory of being the only horse to win Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle and a mare and all!
He went for Sea the Stars in the flat, on the basis that its the greatest flat horse he has ever seen and is likely to ever see.

Who would yours be??

I'd have to go with Moscow Flyer in the National Hunt. Until he went over the top, if he stood up he won, in a time of exciting talented 2 mile chasers he was the best. His victory in the tingle creek was the pinnacle. He was very unfairly denied a dead heat in Punchestown to keep his proud record going. He frequently started his campaign in Navan (which was great). Even when he retired he came back and won a charity race on the Firday at Punchestown, I lumped on to him at evens and he bowled along like the class horse that he is. Not to forget, he was a top class hurdler who wasn't far off Istabraq. A true legend.

High Chaprral - One of the few flat horses to capture my imagination. I could never understand the fascination with Hawk Wing & Chap did him in the Derby. Ran as a four year old, doing the rare fete of winning two breeders cups. Personal favourite was being at the champion stakes at Leopardstown to see him win @ 41/1 and complete a treble  :) Good times.
St. Josephs GFC - SFC Champions 1996 & 2006, IFC Champions 1983, 1990 & 2016 www.thejoesgfc.com

DRIVE THAT BALL ON!!

Donnellys Hollow

How long have you got?

NH:
Danoli - The people's champion. I'll never forget Leopardstown going mental when he won the Hennessy.
Hardy Eustace - Turned up for every cockfight year in year out and always ran his race. Ran every race in memory of Kieran Kelly.
Whats Up Boys - Loved this Philip Hobbs horse. He won the Coral Cup in 2000 from another county: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36REhZLDxaY (3:57 onwards). I was gutted when Dickie Johnson got there too soon in the National and Bindaree beat him.
Fondmort - Cheltenham legend. He was a stone better horse there than anywhere else. Had a wedge on him when he won the Ryanair.
Spotthedifference - An ATM machine around the banks courses. Some roar when he got up after falling after crossing the line at Cheltenham one day. He looked almost embarresed walking back down the chute.
Monkerhostin - Have been following this old warrior for years and he's done me some huge favours.
Accordion Etoile - Turned out he was just short of top class but he was incredibly likeable. Had a big bet on him the day an inspired John Cullen got him up to beat Tamarinbleu and McCoy at Cheltenham. Lost my b******s when he fell in the Arkle.
Nickname -  Soft ground + two miles = unbeatable. Raced as an entire which would be very unusual for a chaser. Looking forward to seeing his progeny on the track.

Flat:
Azamour - One of the most underrated horses ever trained on the Curragh. Was raging when Soumillon ballsed it up when he was going for back to back Champion Stakes.
George Washington - Gorgeous George had it all. Quirky old fecker but he couldn't half cruise when he was in the mood. The day he won at Ascot when Mick just angled out and didn't even touch him with the stick was awesome. Didn't deserve his sad demise in New Jersey.
Mustameet - Curragh specialist who cleaned up nearly every listed and G3 contest a few years ago. It was a pity he never won a G1.
Ridgewood Pearl - One of the best fillies I've ever seen. Beautiful statue of her in the racecourse on the Curragh.
Refuse To Bend - Won big on him when he won the Guineas at Newmarket having backed him as a 2yo after getting word from a friend close to Moyglare Stud. Ran a stinker then at Epsom before the Arabs bought him from DK and ruined him.
Royal Academy - MV O'Brien and Lester Piggott 1990 Breeders Cup Mile - one of the greatest flat races I've ever seen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1ThhBVc0bA

Good shout with High Chaparral LE. Hawk Wing was a miler and proved it in the Lockinge. Murtagh was convinced Kinane had picked the wrong horse before Epsom and boy was he right. It was a pity he wasn't as good right handed because he could have won mulitiple Arcs. His Breeders Cup Turf wins were great races though. Bit of a disappointment as a stallion unfortunately.
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?
