Some of the biggest meetings in the racing calendar only a week away and the lead headline on the RP and SL websites is about some lad called Rooney who has bought a yearling  ::)

Heading down to leopardstown on boxing day, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to pick a lot out until the final decs are through. Bog Warrior will be a warm order in the big race and very hard to see him getting beat on his Fairyhouse demolition job. Doubt he'll be much of a price though. The other feature on the card looks quite trappy as is often the case with juvenile hurdles in Ireland. Interesting to see if DK's horse takes his chance.

The maiden hurdles both look competitve and there's bound to be a few big reputations in the bumper. I've heard very positive reports about On Your Eoin (smashed Clondaw Warrior in a p2p) and particularly Champagne Fever who is the talking horse from Closutton this winter. Murphy also has an unraced Gigginstown horse (by Westerner out of a Roselier mare) called Empire Of Dirt. Went for €350k as a 3yo.

Cheers for the DH. Gives me some food for thought.
