It's obvious Junior needs a major overhaul, teams not fielding in Championship matches for fear of national headline grabbing hammering should never happen. Mal had an idea on Twitter that would work well, 10 senior, 10 intermediate and 10 junior with the rest into Junior B. Reserves league and championship a major concern as well. Ballinderry only played 1 Group game plus 2 knockout and find themselves in the final, whereas the other group teams had to play all 5 group games before going into knockout

Wouldn't traditionally be the stron gest at this level.

Would the split you have now not make more sense?

Or have 4 tiers?

Doubt the junior teams are too worried about anything beyond Derry tbh. Be happy enough to be playing championship games against teams at their level and not intermediate teams. Most will start the season thinking they've a decent chance of winning which is good. Same for intermediate and senior

Or in some counties, senior teams.  :o

I be of the other Opinion, been strong at Junior level and Intermediate is beneficial in alot of Counties especially Kerry,Tyrone.

Being stronger at junior would of course be beneficial, but Kerry's 'junior' wouldn't be our version of junior.

Re Tyrone, were Owen Roes jnr when McShane started with Tyrone? Many others plying their trade in Div 3 play for the Tyrone county ?

Intermediate predictions?

Ballinderry v Faughanvale - Tempted to go for Faughanvale but Think Ballinderry will have too much experience - Shamrocks by 4

Reserve Intermediate
Greenlough v Ballinderry - Shamrocks by at least 8

Faughanvale never reached the levels of last week and deservedly beat but will feel hard done by having should of won it last week. McKinless again showing his temperament makes him such a liability, does the suspension carry into ulster?

What was mckinkess at today then. Saw video of him getting the line and the da getting involved.

Barry Cass under p at the end also

Already on a yellow and doing silly things like not giving up the ball for frees, not taking his yards got the 2nd yellow then gets into a row with the Vale bench

Silly boy.
The dad getting involved didn't look great.

Who had the issue with Cassidy or was it handbags

Brendan

Owenbeg is a disaster waiting to happen the fighting at the tunnel went on for about 10 minutes with most of the stand standing to watch what was going on there instead of the match as the stewards and that crowd of security who looked to be hired in failed to deal with it, if it had of been a more temperamental match I dread to think what could have happened if escalated into the supporters.

I didn't notice any issue with Cassidy he had a good game but missed a stamp by a Vale man in my opinion as his back was turned

Sounds messy...

Got a short video clip sent mainly of the mckinlesses, then Barry seemed to being protected/pulled away at end of match
