Would be interested to hear the views of the Mayo lads on here about Roscommon. Where are their strengths and weaknesses? If Mayo could take one Ros player to play for them, who would you choose, although i'm sure ye think that none of the Ros players would get on the Mayo team?

Why ask the question and then answer it yourself?

I would take Kilbride and put him in 13. Room would have to be made for Donie Shine in the forwards. The 3rd member of Syf's 'best 3 forwards in Connacht' would have to be looked at as well. I'd keep our backs and midfield, but then there aren't many in any county that I'd swap for in those departments.

With Enda Smith and Diarmuid Murtagh it's up to 5 of 6 now.

It's probably a year too soon for the Murt at Senior and Enda Smith went missing when it mattered most at u21 level nothwithstanding he is easily the most comfortable Roscommon football on the ball since maybe John Hanley.
All in good time for these lads.

Luke Flanagan is an oustanding politician. The people have spoken. The bitter minority have been silenced. We will never be silenced. We are the Rossies.

Politically we are about to enter the dark ages in Ireland.

Your not called Muppet for nothin.

Conor Daly,Cathal and Donie Shine,Keenan,Ian Kilbride,Cafferkey and Cregger have all picked picked up knocks or have been carrying injuries before or since the Leitrim game. While it's fair to say that some of these lads will start,it's not ideal to be heading into a game against the 2 nd best team in the country having not had the correct training and preparation.I would suggest these injuries had a part to play in the weekend club league games were called off at the same time our coastal friends were knee deep in championship action with their clubs.
I don't believe we have the strength in depth that people think we have.Maybe with a full hand to pick but not right now.

He has both arms alongside the player. Not around.I doubt anyone has arms long enough to hug Mark Lynch.

Pathetic article on Hoganstand. That picture provides no evidence of a hug tackle.

Injuries piling up for the Rossies ahead of this game.Only likely to be one winner for definite now.Keeping the score down will be an achievement.

Don't know what McIver is complaining about McQuillan for.Derry can have no complaints whatsoever.Failed miserably once again when it came to the crunch.McIver trying to take the spotlight away from his own failings.

The referee was terrible yesterday! I'm not saying it affected the result as there is no question Donegal were the better team but their tackling is barely legal and there were a number of times we should have had frees and didn't get them!

Barely legal. Therefore open to some level of interpretation you might say?Had you said illegal you might have an argument(even taking bias into account),but most counties take all aspects of their game to the edge in Cship football.Isn't Ulster renowned for this and isn't that exactly what makes it watchable.

Real deserved that draw just about.Atletico will take the penos now. They look wrecked. They caved with 15 minutes to go.Eerily similar to Bayern 99.Simeone has made a fool of himself berating the ref. They should be down to 10 now.

Anyone watching Itv coverage?Gerrards face when Keane said England would struggle!
;D ;D ;D
Gerrard should tell Keane what it's actually like to play in and win a Champions League Final...

Keane should and I'm sure has told Gerrard what it's like to deliver the big performances for your team when the Premier League reaches it's climax and you want your leaders to lead you :-D

Roscommon bus looks nicer than the two Madrid buses that pulled in before the game.Would have been some crack if the Rossies bus pulled in between them.
