It's the burger meat. Heard it once at the start of the summer, then again this morning. Yanks call it that. Maybe it'll pass.

But I also shudder when I hear:

roasties (It's roasted potatoes)
toasties (It's toasted sandwiches)
chippy/chipper (It's a chip shop)
peno. (It's a penalty ffs)

So it's probably me who has the problem.

You must love Chrimbo then  ;D

but where does he sit on xmas

I know - I don't get that irony either. It's about as ironic as having the word democratic in their name  >:(

It's just bigotry and they fail to mention brexit when saying how bad the NIP is so then people who would be of the persuasion to listen to them do.

I don't think it is. Also don't forget they were pro protocol not very long ago. Someone had words - so it's either like you say someone with financial clout or it's loyalist paramilitaries.

Personally I think there's been a realisation somewhere that the border expedites a united ireland significantly - or in their eyes makes it a real possibility - and it's that more than the economic stuff going on here.

They arenít more extreme though as theyíve always been pretty extreme- they arenít much different. There is a school of thought that brexit will make drugs harder to get in and that does not please the loyalist paramilitaries who would definitely be in the running to be the ones pulling their strings.

When have the DUP ever done anything for Sandy Rowe? You're mistaken here in thinking that it is different for them not to look after their own communities. It is not. They are basically tories. Sandy Rowe residents voting for the DUP is akin to people in poor areas in the north of england voting for tories. (same applies to brexit)

Athletics have their own body in the north and the south .. Gymnastics probably the best example. That went well...

I didn't think there was a hockey team in it? Could be wrong though.

Is the 2-9 thing not a myth?

I am not 100% sure on the details but yes I think that is what it is.

I'd be interested in Max Power's comments. Two teams is bound to leave a hell of a lot of players out of club action.

I don't think it is second teams. I think Kelly would be on Ballycastle's first team and a those Cushendall ones would be on Cushendall senior team. I suspect Laverty is on Loughgiel's too. She was saying she was on the senior panel but dropped off it last year.

I think it's just those that don't make the squad.

Also they seem to tend to be younger as I think the plan is to bring them on to the intermediate.

I am not sure anyone knows the right answer to this - I certainly don't...

Ah- thanks. Yeah it kind of is a procession to that stage though I think there is some significance to the johnnies win. Realistically the top three pick themselves itís just the order.

On reading the report I think Dunloy were missing seaan Elliot, Malloy and Eoin OíNeill at least. That would be worrying for other teams.
No Woody either and Shorty only played about 3 minutes at the end. Its looking very likely that the last 4 will be Cushendall, Dunloy, Loughgiel and St Johns.

Is it the top two in each group into semis? There are only two groups arenít there?
