Not sure if Mac Hinery is still kicking about, but he should change this thread to Moaners Anonymous

PS: Dub80085, you're full of sh1t, there was nowhere near 150 Derry men in Castlebar !

still here JoG2 but i believe in liberty, democracy, freedom of speech and Wrangler jeans so I'll not give the moaning bitches a piece of the thread title

I agree Antrim hurling is a long way off the standard it once was. I remarked in another thread how that Slaughtneil team would have struggled to get out of Derry never mind win Ulster had they been around a few years ago.

Nothing miserable about that opinion tickle, just an honest assessment of their hurling ability. Their players and supporters won't care about my opinion, they won Ulster and that's all that matters to them.

I just thought it was a bit sad to see such a poor quality Ulster final.
??? Cushendall were in an All Ireland Final 7 months ago!

After beating Slaughtneil in what is commonly acknowledged to have been the best Ulster Final in memory... how Slaughtneil must have fallen in 12 months... to beat the All Ireland champions of 4 years ago. ::) ::)

You're quite entitled to your opinion Stallion but I'm also entitled to tell you when it's a load of balls.

I think you just gelded the Stallion there Franko?

It's not clear what caused Nicholl to withdraw his proposal but it would appear that the proposal was all but agreed.  The total funding was not required from the Borough as the proposal summary indicates and the shortfall was to come from a landfill communities fund.

By feigning injury or at the very least exaggerating it.

Nonsense. Are u from Down?
which part of that statement is nonsense walter? im from down i have no problem in calling it as it is. it was blatant cheating, he feigned injury to try to get a player either booked or sent off.

Check the video from 11 to 14 seconds and spot the thumb fishooking Enda Lynn's mouth.  It may not have been a red card offence but certainly not cheating or feigning / exaggerating an injury.

Mick Lyons could have played any position he wanted and nobody would have argued with him or told him to get back

Well done the young Kevin Lynch hurlers.  All-Ireland feile titles are very hard come by, agreat achievement for the club.

All the best to the Senior county hurlers, a blend of youth and experience that might spring a surprise today.

Well getting pissed again after what could have been a disaster of a day, seems I tried it on with one of my best friends last night. But then she came around and took me out for the day unannounced as if the night before never happened but she was cheaky all day. I was too hungover to judge it rightly, so getting drunk again to see can I remember what happened last night. Not sure if this is a wise plan, but sure I not the smartest cookie in the cookie jar.

Right  - there's the winner right there.  not one word of sense - Close 'er down now.

General discussion / Re: Holes in roof felt??
« on: January 13, 2012, 11:41:23 PM »
Weird one.

Was up in the attic and noticed puncture holes in roof felt!  As if they'd been punched from the outside like a chisel or sharp stick poke through or something but there's no tiles dislodged?   Def not rats of whatever as not eaten through.

Any ideas apart from Freddie Kruger?

Starlings can sometimes get under the tiles and easily make holes like this. I had them in my attic, but you usually hear them, they are noisy as hell. Last winter they were breaking in a lot to get out of the cold.
The missus found a recently dead starling in the fireplace this evening! We have chimney guards on so the hoor must have gone some to get down the chimbley.

well mr gormley needs n,other good craic 2 wake him up again, long time since mr davis hit him.

It was Niall Cahalane not Davis that cuffed him.  Davis got lined for a later tackle.  Enda played a blinder after that slap.
