Came across in her tv interview earlier in the year as quite cold and sad really.  Hadn't seen her children in 35 years and didn't seem too cut up about that either.

They make TV dramas and fly-on-the-walls about dysfunctional families on welfare but there's just as much dysfunction, inhumanity and apathy at the other end of the economic scale. At least unemployed families don't have their kids reared by others until they're seven and send them away after that.
