Great to hear that he is on the mend.
He'll be some addition to the panel come the championships, as long as he steers clear of injuries.

If these games had any meaning Gallagher would have been playing for the opposition..

Do the colleges not have the first call on players?

That's the point. And only in some provinces. The DCU Roscommon players played today for us rather than against Dublin in the O'Kildare Cup.

Good run out. The Mitchels lads looked sharp and fit and this did make them stand out. The extra couple of weeks of their season, plus playing games at a decent level for the past 18 months clearly stood to them. Shane Nally (as one would expect) very solid. Dougie was up and down. One would expect he has to sail through game like this in order to break into the squad. Kirby looked the Business today and could have something to offer? Good to see Adam Gallagher playing and playing well.

Time to shorten  the Inter County season to one minth ;D
Farce today (and in Mohill too it seems) but you can only play what's put in front of you.
We were direct and always on the move but as a contest the game didn't  last 10 minutes and it's use to management is certainly questionable. At least the players got a bit of exercise.
I suppose it's one for the statisticians - did Ros ever score that much in  an OfficialCompetition game?

We're going to bring home the SAM

4-25 against Cork in the league last year.

6-21 today has already trumped the Cork game. 8)

Hat trick for Andy Glennon. Hopefully it's a sign that he's ready to make an impact, we could use an option at FF, and it isn't a Danny Kirby performance and he isn't heard from again.
