Quote from: Armagh18 on November 29, 2023, 08:02:32 PMOnana had few good games there but back to his flaky self tonight. Europa league would be some hindrance to the league with the amount of injuries but should be aiming to win kt

The hoor spills balls for fun except when playing against Everton...

Quote from: tonto1888 on Today at 12:07:32 PMAbsolutely gutted. Cant say it came as a shock though.

RIP Shane

He looked terrible in the last few pictures his wife/partner shared on Twitter.

RIP Shane, a life well lived.

Fúckin moron...

If anything the Grey squirrel with their origins in North America and taking over the indigenous red squirrels habitat are more like the Zionists than Hamas.

But as I say he's a blowpipe stealing moron.

Quote from: dec on November 29, 2023, 01:39:46 PMFrom 2008 through 2010 all 9 counties competed in a highly seeded competition. In 2011 Cavan dropped out and in 2012 it was back to only the stronger counties.

Ah right, didn't realise that was the format, but in the end there was just nowhere in the calendar suitable to play it as I recollect Down were asked to play a CR game on the Saturday and then Antrim in the final up in Derry on the Sunday, Ulster Council weren't for budging and it lost a lot of support for it after that in Down anyway.

Quote from: the onion bag on November 28, 2023, 04:35:27 PMThere was an attempt at it for a few years in the late 2000s with London included as well. It was heavily seeded based on league position if I recall correctly

Nothing ever involving the whole 9 counties that I can see.

It is insane

Football or Hurling?

no football in Clarinbridge

Except Alan Kerins who probably won more at the football than the hurling...

Quote from: statto on November 26, 2023, 08:06:24 PMMartial more league goals than this great striker hojlund?

How TF Everton didn't score in that first half I'll never know...

Missed three guilt edge chances, Gueye skews a sitter, DCL heads one into the hands of Onana and puts another one over the bar.

United had four shots on target and scored three, that's the difference.

Goal of the season right there from Garnacho in fairness.

Quote from: imtommygunn on November 24, 2023, 07:33:56 PMThere's a pretty detailed article on it in one of the Irish papers. "Do you know who the f**k I am" said. Doesn't read well for him.

From reading reports, do they not all know each other?

Don't think so as they followed the lad out from the nightclub wanting to know his name.

I think the girls in question know both parties and that is the link, but Hayes didn't know this lad evidently.

Big choices now for Kiely as they booted Pat Ryan off the panel for his legal indiscretions...
When this came up at CCCC none of the delegates from these counties spoke out against it or for it, all sat dumb, but I think the biggest insight came from the Leitrim county hurling manager who knows their county treasurer was openly all on for it for behind the scenes they secretly wanted it to go through under the radar but now it's blown up these sneeky hoors are all running for cover leaving CCCC rightly looking like a shower of dicks.

Time those in power understood that in a lot of instances when you're discussing the weaker codes in a lot of counties with their delegates, chairpersons etc etc you won't be getting the right story.

Quote from: trueblue1234 on November 24, 2023, 02:37:28 PMNolan show today, bemoaning the lack of involvement by the GAA top brass in de-escalating last nights activities.
Bryson was on saying their silence shows they are in agreement with the rioters.
Mary from Larne says they don't know how to riot down there.

Knew it had to be the GAA's fault. The fuppin baxtards.

Did the soccer clubs get a mention? Over 450,000 play soccer in Ireland, hopefully the soccer hardmen can calm the lads down lol

Philly McMahon has been deployed in the area tonight, the Gardaí can rest easy.

No need for those soccer fairies, the main man is on duty.
And if Philly is getting it a bit tight, he's got the Limerick hurlers on speed dial, Kyle Hayes will be up in a flash.

Quote from: NorthAntrim on November 24, 2023, 09:14:45 AMAlways thought it would be a brilliant investment by a club. Think McKaigue does this at S'Neil?
Although its probably not possible financially with most clubs. Is St Brigids still a council pitch or do they own it now??

Costs to run a club now are shocking without new developments. To cut and maintain the pitches every year, fertaliser and sand is a small fortune!

He's the only GPO I know of and certainly seems the way to go instead of throwing thousands at outside managers every year, get a good club man who has been there and done it and is passionate about the club, not every club has a person as successful as McKaigue of course

Mckaigue is in on a 3 year term and is paid by a sponsor.

Slaughtneil are still paying outside managers, in both football & hurling.

And Camogie.
