Bogball XV

Kilmacud win Dublin title after replay.
Kilmacud 3.6 Oliver Plunketts 0.13 (B Brogan 0.10 - 8 from play?)
Crokes nicked it as Plunketts led by 3 with 5 mins left, 2 goals, the first extremely dodgy apparently as the umpires said the OP keeper carried the ball over the line.  Mark Davoren scored the 1st and 3rd Crokes goals.

Longford's Brian Kavanagh gets Parnell Park closure as Longford were 5 up with a few mins to go in the O'Byrne Cup final last Jan and yet managed to lose to the Dubs.

That's one out of 2,000 of us so  :(

The wait goes on. It'll be 40 years now since Connacht won the football.

Good win for Munster in the Interprovincial Final.  First win since 1999.  Good to see players from Limerick, Waterford and Tipperary winning Railway Cup medals alongside the Cork and Kerry lads.  Congratulations to the Tipperary players, goalkeeper Paul Fitzgerald who conceded no goal in the semi final or final and Robbie Costigan who came on as a sub in the second half.

Connacht JFC:

Killala 1-10 Eslin 2-5.

Killala probably playing Kilglass of Ros in the final, as the Galway reps haven't become known yet. We had noone in it anyway.
