Horrendous conditions in Casement apparently, but horrendous damage being done by Galway as well. Antrim have just scored their first point of the second half, while Galway are cantering at this stage.

Michael McCambridge has just been sent off as well for Antrim to make things even better for them.

Was a shocker of a game.  Antrim fell totally flat in the second half after giving Galway a bit of a challenge in the first - 2 points in the entire second half.  Galway hit a fair amount of wides on top of what they scored as well. Was a brutal day too - totally soaked and no shelter whatsoever in Casement outside of the tiny stand.  So much for thinking it might be a half enjoyable way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

ONeill

Shocking result. The commentator joked beforehand that if Antrim get within 25 points it's progress from previous years. That's probably the end of the road in terms of Antrim competing in the McCarthy.

Tyrone beat Cavan in minor semi

Tyrone beat Cavan 1-11 to 1-9 in Sunday's Ulster Minor Football Championship semi-final at Clones.

Reigning champions Tyrone won despite finishing the game with 13 men, Gavin Teague being sent-off for two yellow cards and then Kyle Coney late on.

A Kevin Tierney point gave Cavan a 1-9 to 1-8 lead but three unanswered points from Tyrone secured their victory.

Tyrone had beaten Down at the quarter- final stage while Cavan had seen off Antrim and Armagh.

Monaghan will face Derry in the second semi-final next weekend.
