The ref was listed as G. Walsh of Antrim. A couple of tight calls did go to Down, but the ref missed a lot of off the ball stuff on McComiskey, including one when he was lifted right in the air and thrown on to the ground. Down were also a little more composed when the pressure was on, and Tyrone gave away a few frees by by overcarrying.

May have been an Antrim man.  Referee was shocking at times.  As I say Tyrone cannot blame him.  Only themselves.  Down wasnt the best team on the night and still done enough.  Might be a blessing in the sky as getting beat by Down is slightly better than getting humped by Derry.

If it was him - not on tonights preformance.  Even Mourne Rover agrees on the preformance.  Lets not drag it into criticising the ref though...
