7 way playoff in the Golf for Bronze.
Schauffele wins Gold for the USA. I don't watch much golf these days but that was an exciting ending.

I would be the same wouldn't watch a lot Matsuyama seemed to be missing putts at the wrong time.

What a game, the last quarter was overdrive by Tipp and after that save on 69 minutes Waterford scores 1-4 or something in 3 minutes!

I wonder will the football,  match that next?  :P

Be tough to match but should be interesting nonetheless.

Liam Cahill to get the call to come home to Tipp before the year is out.

Jaysus Utd have signed Sancho, I never seen that one coming....

Benny will be along shortly to tell us he's shit or a dungball or something..
Great signing and positive news that pogba seems to be on his way out

A straight swap with Real Madrid just so that pr*ck of an agent doesn't get a commission from a fee. But that won't happen. Hopefully get varane signed as well shortly.

Talk of Ruben Neves from Wolves possibly. I'd be trying Tielemens from Leicester if he still stalls on a new contract. Good player. Raging they never went for him when he was on loan at Leicester from Monaco.

Slab head had a great game to be fair to him and great tournament.

Shaw and Maguire had a decent tournament. Pickford saves 2 penalties and still not enough. Thought grealish would have taken one of the 5. England won't get a better chance after that.

Grim, disappointing......and all the other words beside them in a thesaurus. Think the league has possibly given us false hope. Last few performances have been awful. We're so far off the pace  - chasing shadows.

Hard luck to Antrim terrible shame to go back to Joe McDonagh.A real sucker punch after league exploits. Laois seemed to turn up at the right time after a poor year!

Thank f**k. Great effort a win is a win and Liam McCarthy status for 2022. Follow it up against Westmeath.
Right time to perform best performance of the year.

As expected. Our lads too small compared to Kildare.

Disappointing result last night. Full credit to Kildare but regardless an unacceptable result if we wish to see Laois hurling make any progress. I know COVID is a killer for likes of underage development squads and schools hurling which has been lacking past year and half. However Kildare and other counties have same issues. Have seem to made no progress despite high profile involvement.

The 20s as well next week will be interesting to see standard vs Kilkenny. Antrim rolled over after about 15 minutes and game was over. We're a bit light at that level but skill and work-rate seems to be decent. Time will tell.

A large win over Antrim tonight: 4-27 to 0-07. The shock of the night though is Kildare beating Wexford by a point!

Good to see two wins under the belts of these players now... our reward is a match against Kilkenny whereas Kildare play Offaly. These games both take place next Tuesday night July 13th at 7.30pm - thinking we might have home advantage in that. The winners of both these games then advance to face Galway and Dublin. The Laois-Kilkenny winners get Galway.

This sheet gets serious now.

Good win against an awful Antrim side. Took our foot off pedal most of 2nd half but all hurled well. A better test awaits the  next day. Kilkenny will surely be more physical side and a proper litmus test to see where we're at.

I think its championship level now-we are seeing the real deal now in terms of where boys are at

Under 20s vs Laois tonight in Navan at 7:30. I'd imagine laois Antrim would be similar level at this grade?

See Heaton is back. Wonder is he coming in to replace Lee Grant or will one of Deano or DeGea leave? Still think Romero was treated disgustingly by us.
Lee Grant staying, signed an extra year, Romero is gone but looks like one of DDG or Deano will go too. I'd say DDG this summer and Henderson gets a year to prove himself.
[/quote

I can't see Henderson going. He didn't do a big pile wrong last season. No major howlers anyway, unlike De Gea. So it has to be De Gea that goes. He'll probably go and pick up a fortune on PSG's bench.

Have you any idea how nuts that statement is?

Were you hiding under the blankets against Liverpool. Dreadful.

Will be interesting to see who they go for next. Or even who will be sold.

U2os out tonight. Doesn't look an overly strong team but should have enough for Westmeath.

Best of luck indeed. Won't be easy particularly in a as timer conditions this evening in Portlaoise.

Very quiet build up to first round call Wexford on Saturday evening. Seem to have more injuries Diarmuid Conway and John Lennon added to list. Hopefully Laois can be more efficient with their shooting up front and hurl with some consistency rather than in small patches in last few games. Hopefully it will be an improved performance from last game vs Wexford.
