Quote from: Would ye whist on July 24, 2024, 10:51:24 AMAny chance you boys could take the Downey's back to Derry, up in Antrim acting the gobshites

What did they do now?
I don't think they'll be welcome back in Lavey. They opted for the soft handy number in Antrim.

Quote from: marty34 on July 24, 2024, 01:00:40 PMTypical loyalist M. O. with Brolly now - pile on in concerted numbers.

Like they tried with Pat Cullen and Colin Harvey etc. etc.

And lost.

He'll love every second of it, will revel in the attention. All is good, when it's all about him.

Quote from: Norm-Peterson on July 22, 2024, 09:51:24 AMI see Brolly said on twitter that his grandmother was from Donegal. I assume that is on his fathers side. Given that his mother's side are from the Coalisland region that means he actually doesn't have much Co.Derry ancestry. All this talk about Derryness from a man with 25% ancestry from the county.

I wouldn't believe a word of what the man says anymore. He could literally come out with anything!
He takes us all as fools.

Mayo have to have a dip after a big performance V Dubs. Yes they're at home but this is wide open for Derry to get their season back on track.

Quote from: seanyb on June 19, 2024, 09:08:57 AMI'm totally fed up of this narcissist, nasty nasty man

People are now over-exposed to Brolly and his lies. His politics commentary is excellent as it's not all about him. When he speaks GAA he is now coming across as a bitter old fool resorting to making up stories to massage his own ego. A nasty mouth-piece that the entire GAA world now laughs at and pities.

Ps: He couldn't lace Mickey Hartes boots.  Fact.

Quote from: maldini on June 13, 2024, 10:44:06 PMI got the impression when listening to the podcast that Brolly was doing his best to turn the Derry players completely on Harte

If they lose on Saturday he'll be happy, Harte gone and him proven right

Yes, cos in Brollys head the Derry players care what Joe thinks. In Brollys head, his opinion matters.
The fact is that players from all counties (especially Derry) see Brolly as a high profile spoofer who is not to be taken seriously and whos opinions matter not one jot!

I don't listen to that Stephen Nolan guy on BBC cos he's a narcissistic wind up merchant who is very loose with the truth and likes to engage in hatred. A horrible human being who only has one core interest, himself. A man to be pitied.

Exactly same as Brolly.

The unpopular view is that Derry will beat Westmeath, get to a Qtr final and squeeze through to a semi with a win over Louth. Mickey has been here before, has been under similar pressure and generally came good with Tyrone. I think he will again after a disasterous 8 weeks.

Brolly can't hide his distain for Harte and Devlin. Like most of his views they are based on petty jealousy and deep loathing.

Don't fool yourselves to think he supports Derry. Ask any Derry player or supporter what they think of Brolly and they'll tell you he's no supporter. He just wants to be in the limelight and will use Derrys success or otherwise to stay relevant. It's all about Joe. Always.

The 3 teams who genuinely can win it are Down, Sligo and Fermanagh

Respect for him is long gone. The man is genuinely to be pitied.

He's a barrister who can spin and craft an argument either which way, and doesn't care which way he spins it. His motivation is to remain relevant by being controversial, attacking people and telling lies simply feeds his narcissism. The GAA is just his vehicle to feed an incredible ego.

Leo Murphy cup

It's a relegation trophy, a B c'ship, for teams who were put out early. They beat Antrim and Fermanagh to win it!

Quote from: downtothecore on May 04, 2024, 04:10:57 PMDisappointing for this promising minor team  but it was always out of their hands today. They needed firstly to win today which they did impressively but they needed  Monaghan to beat donegal today but Monaghan didnt need to win and Donegal did, so it was very unlikely that they were ever going to get through today in this position.

How many promising minor teams are we going to let management setups ruin before we install the correct people to start developing the underage talent we have in this county??
Get that current man out now and get Laverty to install who he wants - it has worked with u20 group..

Benny did as good a job as the U20s did. Probably won more games than the u20s?

How is Carr not making Clonduff team? Very strange.
