Did Borini spit in Rodgers direction running off? (Maybe not but he wasn't happy). Can see his frustration though.  Team canny score and he sees himself as a goal scorer not getting a decent run

Giroud had the freedom of the box for his goal...Crazy defending

Great to see big Marty bag the equaliser.

Gerrard needs to be played in behind the striker / s or benched and Henderson needs roaded to the Vauxhall Conference.

Great work rate though and if there was a top striker on there the game could have been outta sight by half time

Everton will finish in the top four this year.
There, I've said it.

They are very good going forward.
Now that the defence has settled down they look a far better balanced team than the likes of United, Liverpool or Spurs
that prediction is looking well of the mark. shocking performance today from manager and players. too many players in the comfort zone. distin, howard and barry need dropped. starting to doubt Martinez, the way things are going he'll be fighting another relegation battle.

Hard to fathom considering Everton dominate in every game ;-)

Is Borini gonna get any game time?  With Sturridge injured, he'd near be the best bet on scoring a few (with a bit of a run in the team)

Re Henderson...I near wince everytime he's on the ball with an opponent closing in on him

When they were worth an absolute fortune, many of those who bought houses and worked through them were ignored time and time again with a plethora of issues / complaints. You think they will gain a conscious now IF they fluke a few mil from the Ulster Bank.....2 hopes

Put yourselves in their position. Say it's you and all of a sudden you manage to pull off a shock verdict against the bank and suddenly find yourself flush again.

In your conscience you know you screwed over ( by accident or design) some good hard working honest subbies - who were once good friends and neighbours. Because that's the reality here in many individual cases.

Would you take your money and run, or would you attempt at least to make some kind of meaningful financial gesture of the kind that would at least show you had some moral compass?

I know many wouldn't bother to do this - but I'd be heartened at least to know that some of you would/might. That's all.

Despite others saying your notion is daft - I kind of agree with you here.

However I doubt that even if successful the taggarts could find such repayments/gifts.

I'd expect that if they get back in business, they'd try to look after/employ those men/subbies that they didn't pay prev ( poss with an up front payment if they could afford it!)

A lot of the men out of pocket are near neighbours or folk from that hinterland and the taggert family would like to be seen to do right back among their peers

You pair are living in cloud cuckoo land

(And they are back in business)

As a proud beard man (15+ years)...I'm sick of the sight of these feckin hipster fashion beards. This fad has to die out soon surely?
I thought the same about men using man bags and worse again man scarves.
I was in Cafe en Seine on Dawson street last Saturday night and the amount of gimps wearing man scarves indoors was unreal...
Bad enough wearing them outside... but inside..in a bar..all night??

Half the hooers probably with fashion beards on the go

It's a long time ago now but Golovkin defeated Andy Lee easily in an amateur bout.

the definitive answer I was looking for :-)

Have read a couple articles on Golovkin and the boxing journalists reckon he hasnt been tested. What big names has he fought really? He looks some prospect though but I'm not buying the hype as much as most on here

Seems to be the whole rage at the minute.....the quick hit. I'm for really getting the finger out in the new year re fitness. Not for doing one of these intense transformation but break a sweat everyday and completely overhaul my eating habits.

Just looking some advice on a regime and any diet sheets if anyone has them.

Exercise
I've gym sessions on Tues, Thurs and Sat afternoons starting 3rd Jan and have zero problem doing early morning runs to tick the aerobic box.

Diet
Any plans for each day of the week. Portions etc Definite do's and don't's

I suppose I need some fit hooer to tell me what to do each day to get into good shape in a few months (theres bound to be a good few in the same boat)

Rocky soundtrack downloaded (no joke)
thanks in advance

Turning into the TV whinge related thread...how about having a good chat with a family member, read a book or do a bit of exercise instead of having to sit through hours of 1st world torture...

you're 100% right there b-man. I'm in the middle a few shows and have spent way to long watching shows this year. Gonna really limit my viewing time from Jan onwards.

Those ba5tards reneged on doing the right thing to subbies, suppliers and many of the home buyers who were unfortunate to deal with these charlatans , when they were a pair of the wealthiest men in the north. Conscious bypass the pair of them.

Taggart the builders? Held a wedding in Drumsurn that cost an obscene amount of money shortly before leaving a tonne of subbies completely busted. Up sticks and carry on thier shenanigans in Thailand and now seem to be back in business here under the name Taggart again...I hope they get the book thrown at them. Crooks of the highest order
