Bookies are, I think, massively overrating Killoe who were, judging by their performances this year, eventually going to go down to someone (it was very nearly Granard). No-one has managed three in a row since 1964 and they never looked to be likely candidates to break that hoodoo. Quinn being out injured put the tin lid on it.

Abbeylara look like the value bet at the moment. I SAID - ABBEYLARA LOOK LIKE THE VALUE BET AT THE MOMENT.

Jumping the half-parish from 5/1 to 7/1 up to odds-on seems a bit of a stretch.  I think whoever wins the other semi might be favourites for the final, which of course would suit Laureleye.

It's a dream Northern Gaels final - temporary alliances will unravel and ancient sores will be picked at and will run freely right up to the match.
