slow corner back

Excellent result, how often have AC been hit for 7 over two legs? Rooney is unstoppable right now, needs wrapped in cotton wool between games from now to the end of the season.

Real Madrid out on their Arses and the Final in the Berabeu!!
:o
Cue the primadonna hissy-fit blame game in the changing room!

just seen that, is the manager a dead man walking after all that monet being spent on the big names?
cant really read too much into that win tonight as its hard to say weather Utd were very good or Milan just really very bad
Hospitals are not equipped to treat stupid

i would transfer list everyone of the milan players after that deplorable attempt at competing in a football match
Beer, now there's a temporary solution!!!

AC were dead and buried at 1-0 so I'm not surprised they didn't waste much time chasing the ball up and down the pitch.

Goes to prove once again. Once you leave Manchester Utd it is always a step down. Ronney must be having regrets at this stage....  Come back Ronney all is forgiven. :D

this is way of topic but since you mentioned it. the US military went half way around the world into a hostile country of 30m people (to put it mildly) and so far has suffered about 4,000 causalities. in cold mathematical terms from a US perspective its hardly a fiasco whatever some in the military think. its a war that was only ever going to have one winner

In cold mathematical terms, from a Glazers perspective, there was only ever going to be one winner. Their bank accounts.

i see beckham even but a scarf on after the match

He is no mug when it comes to PR.

He is getting a bit of a doing from the lads on RTÉ now

Beckham actually looked a bit interested at least despite probably getting handed the scarf by his PR people.

Milan were abysmal. They basically chucked it after the first goal went in. Ronaldinho didn't have even have the slightest interest in defending and made a doddery Gary Neville look like Cafu in is prime.

full back

Fcuk me but Milan were terrible.
Just seemed totally dis-interested & didnt give a sh1te.
Embarassing.

Rooney keeps his great goalscoring run going & at the moment is probably the best in the world.

Utd played well all over the park last night with Mr Neville playing very well (never thought I would say that again).

Real missed an awful amount of chances in 1st half. Game could have been over at ht

Goats Do Shave

The White Pele will grab the headlines - & rightly so, as he was again unplayable, but I thought Fletcher & particularly Park were tremendous.

Gary Neville put in his best performance in since before his injuries (bar a couple of wild crosses) & Scholsey ran the show in midfield.

i Don't think anyone mention the importance of Rio & Vidic to the united team, i'll say it again keeping these two fit will make all the Difference!

my one worry after a huge Result like last night is hopefully it doesn't get to their heads! like Roma game a few years ago, cause united are as good as any team left & over confidence could knock them out

Well said about Vidic and Ferdinand! What have I not been saying about Johnny Evans and Co. They are just not in the same league as these two when they are playing together!

QuoteOwen Hargreaves will not take part in the Reserves' Manchester derby on Thursday evening.

Last week it was reported that the midfielder would make his long-awaited return from injury when Manchester City travelled to Altrincham's Moss Lane on 11 March.

But the game, a top-of-the-table league clash, doesn't tally with Hargreaves' precise rehabilitation schedule.

A club spokesperson told ManUtd.com: "This definitely isn't another injury setback. It just doesn't fit in with Owen's training schedule."

But while Hargreaves, who hasn't played since September 2008, won't feature, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to name a strong team, despite the game coming just three days after the Reserves beat Stockport County 1-0 in the Manchester Senior Cup.

Thursday's game kicks off at Moss Lane, Altrincham, at 19:00. Entry is free for season ticket holders, £5 adults, £2 concs.

Those who can't make it to Altrincham can watch the match live on MUTV or read our match report on ManUtd.com shortly after the final whistle.

How the f**k does a come back match not fit in to a training schedule ::)
