OK then my mistake, they are not making up the rules just applying the ones that do not make sense. i.e, a team being being at a disadvantage due to another team not fielding!

In my opinion the rules do make sense. You can't go to scoring difference if one of the teams has effectively played a game less. The CCCC could do nothing about it. The fault lies in the fact that a £100 fine is not a big enough deterrent for not fielding. A 2 point deduction in the following season would suffice (a 2 point deduction for Rock in the current season would have had no bearing on their league position so they wouldn't have been bothered).

Division 3 play off 'final' next week so they'll be twiddling their thumbs for a good couple of weeks waiting on the division 2 side.

CCC regulations say £100 fine so not much of a deterrent to clubs.

I thought the Welsh scrum half Davies tries too many times to go on his own in that 10 minute spell which was never going to work against the Aussies. Though you have to hand it to the Aussie defence it was as good as you'll ever see.

It's just a pity you weren't available when the job came up a few years ago! If Joe Schmidt deems him good enough to play centre for Ireland then that's good enough for me.

Surprised by Brackaville's ecstatic celebrations, thought it would have been slightly more muted, is it really that much of an accomplishment to yoyo up and down every other year? a few steady years in Div 2 would warrant greater respect.

Urney's gamble coming back to bite them now, goin to be a long slog to keep at it for the playoffs to come around. Would have been fairly happy to have see them win but as far as next year's Div1 status I'd feel that both Edendork and the team's vying for automatic promotion thru the league are better equipped to deal with the step up.

I know it really was disgraceful stuff from Brackaville celebrating a championship victory! Any decency at all they would have collected their trophy and headed off down the road in shame. What's it to you what way they celebrate??

I'd say Aghaloo will have a right few supporters from Castlederg, Glenelly and Owen Roes this Sunday as a win for them means 2nd place will automatically go up in the league.

That is very good from D'Arcy. I see the media are running with the Sam Burgess comments even though they are constructive and well articulated by D'Arcy.

O'Gara wrote a good column in the examiner about the England penalty at the end saying that while it looked like he had the bottle to take pressure kicks more often than not it was O'Connell telling him he had no choice but to take them.

2 more years of stagnation, boorishness, players walking away from the panel, childishly ignoring our national broadcaster! Yes it's great news, for every other county in Ireland

You're wrong there I've seen him do plenty of interviews for the BBC.

George Groves beat in his 3rd world title fight at the weekend as well! Is he just not up to that world level? Not sure what his options are now he will probably have to go crawling to James DeGale and take the fight on whatever terms he gives him. I can't see him beating DeGale. A move back to Adam Booth might be his best option too although not sure what the fall out was about there?

Killyclogher to surprise a few in the championship this year!!
You heard it here first!!

Wouldn't be a surprise if they win it - how could it be...

they are current ACL Div. 1 holders, in top 4 again, have 3 current Tyrone players and a few recent retired players, beat EC in 1st round.

How would it be a shock if they won - I would say they would be disappointed if they don't win it.

You're really putting your neck on the line there JB81 with that predication!!

With the quarter final draw they are probably 2nd favourites to win the thing.
