Read his autobiography  few years ago. Some great stories.  A great one was when George best  used to stay with  the family. His son  goes into school and  has to  do a piece about what they  did at the weekend.  Played football with George Best  he says. Sure you did, sit down boy!

Bishop Emeritus Liam Mc Daid from Donegal RIP. He was fullback on the first Maynooth team to play in the University League in 1968.In that game Maynooth defeated UCG 3-9 to1.3.He was ordained in1969

They were incredibly talented . Levon and Robertson were legends.

Many a child got their photo in the Ros Herald as Mick went around the pitch before games etc.
