Barry McGrath from Claregalway was Treasurer for San Francisco GAA, and on Wednesday night he had just been appointed Chairman of our club, St Joseph's HC of Silicon Valley. He died in a car crash in San Francisco on Saturday night after the Uber in which he was traveling was hit by a stolen car in a hit-and-run incident. The SFPD is appealing for witnesses.

Barry was as sound a fella as ever you'll meet and we're all shocked and saddened by the news. RIP Barry and condolences to his family at this time.
