People chatting across seats to each other VERY loudly when you are trying to have a sneaky snooze on the bus.

Haven't tried it yet LL. need to go get some white vinegar as I don't fancy rubbing the blades with the fish and chips stuff

People (and by people I mean women) who pretend to be/act stupid.

Why do they do this? Do they think it makes them more attractive, being an idiot? I understand there are genuinely stupid people, but there are ones who seem to go out of their way to broadcast their idiocy, over Facebook etc. One recent example I heard: "I always thought Cookstown was in Glenavy". Wtf!

In my experience, rarely are they acting.

I agree. That Cookstown/Glenavy conundrum catches a lot of people.

Is it pronounced

Glen-avy
or
Gle-navy
or
Glen-navvy
or
Kooks-town?

On that subject are there other types of doors such as 'late doors' and 'in good time doors'?

Ron Atkinson used to use it a lot. Used to have soccer connotations, but I think it's sort of morphed into Lahdahn speak for 'Early'. Which is nice.

'He's decided to take the man on early doors, and the big lad's gotten eyebrows to the cross. Spotters Badge for the pass'.

It's went and gotten its own tense too, obviously.
