Liverpool will always have the bragging rights over Everton. Wanting Everton to do well so there is something riding on a game is weird behaviour. A derby is a derby. We want to win them whether Everton are shit or not, like every other game.

Course ye still want Pool to win them. Theres an argument that if the Ev are goin well they might come out and play which could suit the Pool.

All things considered id rather they won an oul league ahead of either of the Manc teams as things stand tho they would be hard to listen to for sure. Im sure theres plenty on Merseyside who'd disagree with me..

I don't mind Everton, never have. I like a lot of what they do off the football pitch as a club. They do great work for kids with special needs for example with their Everton in the Community project and Everton FC were fantastic at the time of Hillsborough,which should never be forgotten imo.

Obviously you want to beat them and its great to make fun of them as a lot of their fans are bitter as evidenced on here on many an occasion! But as a club I don't mind them. I think it's good for the league to have a club like Everton doing well.

This notion that you have to hate them because you support Liverpool is laughable imo.

I remember a interview with Jamie carragher where he was saying if you're a Liverpool fan in the city of Liverpool your biggest game of the season is against Everton, bragging rights, you have to work with them, family etc etc
If your a Liverpool fan in the rest of the UK, Ireland, Europe etc your biggest game is man utd.
No matter where you are as an Everton fan your biggest match is Liverpool and you don't want them to even win a corner ffs 😂
