Tony Baloney

Smyth to Saints and Zammit to Chiefs.

The LRZ hype is mental. Other than showing terrific speed, he looked poor (relatively) in the other drills. Derrick Henry who has a few stone on him out-jumped him in the vertical by a foot odd! Shows you just how incredible some lads in the NFL are athletically.

The NFL and its owners are the most hard headed bastards about as we have seen with the Swift/Kelce romance. If they think they can monetise LRZ and the novelty of having a Welsh player they will do it (for a while).

Be interesting to see how he does but his speed in the 40 alone won't keep him in the NFL, loads of kids coming out of college with that sort of speed.
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Speed won't keep him in it alone. And the NFL (and America in general) is falling down with athletic monsters.

I'd still like to think that a lad who had 30 international rugby caps by the age of 22 might though be up to the standard of athleticism required.

Comparing anyone to Derrick Henry is a bit of a tough gig too. He's a different level in terms of an ultra commited physical specimen even by NFl standards.

Great for Smith. Who Dat!

Will be very interesting to see how he gets on. Saints never really replaced Lutz effectively.

He's Smyth. Their official press release had "Smyth (pronounced Smith)" which gave me a laugh.
