I've no idea what caused his death but if I have to have a random guess, let me know and I'll post one.

Course you would.
Anything to increase your post count  ::)

TG4 coverage puts RTE coverage into the shade and shows what can be done if a broadcaster gives a shite about the game.

Lets hope Eir Sport can do likewise

Does anyone see the similarity between:

a) the drug mule that transports drugs from one place to another

b) the barman who sells beer to the drink driver

Or the shopkeeper who sells cigarettes....

This event suits the current media agenda and will ensure the scaremongering continues.

His body shape doesnt really seem to be conductive to playing top level football past his mid 30's - big boned as my grandmother used to say.

Would be good enough for Everton and suspect could still do a job at Utd if Maureen had any interest in keeping him. Getting him and Bastian off the books would save have a million a week in wages - not shabby!

Liverpool like Man U are only going to be challenging for top 4 places when they have players like Henderson, Milner, Mignolet & Herrera, Smalling, Rojo as regulars.
None of these players would get into the top teams in PL or across Europe.
Akk deadwood.

Ronnie Moran - an absolute giant of the game and as many have said Mr Liverpool (imagined he would be more than 83 mind you - maybe because he always looked older than he actually was.

RIP

This will encourage some teams to go long that dont have a 'sharp' keeper or dont have ball playing corner backs.

The mark will mean nothing to the counties who currently excel at short kickouts - they will continue with it as it is guaranteed posession.

If a rule was brought in from say under 16 (with an additional line on the field) that the ball must pass a 30metre line it would help this blight on our game

Ah come on, he's clearly having a laugh

Think only the Armagh wans will get my reply ;)

He's enough red cards in the last twelve months for most of Ulster to get it.

Is this lad actually a good player - havent seen enough to form an opinion but he fills plenty of column inches with his behaviour?

For those who missed the newstalk interview with BOD:

- He speaks of how we punch above our weight compared to England and New Zealand.
- He talks of our players having a limited skill set compared to NZ but how this is starting to change - U20s recent performances being an example
- He also talks about how rugby is an obsession in NZ much like the GAA here and how we'd have to stop playing Gaelic Football to have any chance of competing with them regularly

So no lads he's not looking for us to stop playing Gaelic Football. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story though.

So if we stop Gaelic Football BOD says we could compete?

Ireland under JS are dull to watch in the main.
Bar the Italy & England games Ireland in the 6N were dull as dishwasher and that is down to the tactics.
Irrespective watching them beat Eddie Jones & the English on Saturday should give any Irishman with a pulse great satisfaction.

As a small country and considering the number of available players we are over-achieving.

If BOD could get shot of GAA though we could be much better  ::)

I saw her floating about Belfast doing some retail therapy recently.

She looked as if she didnt have a care in the world but then she did the time for her crime so as society we should not judge her and why wouldnt she now enjoy herself.

Whats wrong with Sludden?
Hamstring.

Hopefully wont be out for too long but he has had a busy year so far and a week or two rest will do him no harm.

Blanket defence or not if we get a run at Cavan we can win by 8+ pts

So people complain that the media keep referring to NI politics and Green and Orange... the vast majority of this thread has been the same thing.

The odd post relates to education/jobs/welfare/hospital waiting lists/welbeing/infrastructure/wages/less tax on the poor more tax on the rich....

Dire stuff indeed.. get out and vote so that we can keep themus out!! Anyone who votes based on that is a clampit (IMHO)  ;)

Valid point but the way most nationalist voted impeded a party that used a veto to over rule any legislation they did not adhere to and used their political powers to line their own pockets at every opportunity
It was bordering on a dictatorship
Do you really think that if SF were in the same position they would act the same
If they did they would lose more of the nationalist electorate than the DUP did
Imagine they have gained 20 odd thousand more votes
It's very much a case of " what do you have to do to get the sack around here"

When it comes to the big two I don't buy this "one is as bad as the other"
I wouldn't describe anyone who tactically voted to over throw the corrupt DUP as clampits
I would describe anyone who voted DUP as An electorate that puts the union before an effcient government that concentrates on what's best for all the people

SF gave themselves £700k of public money in the "Research Services Ireland" scam so let's not kid ourselves that SF don't like a bit of free money too, at the tax payers expense

Both parties are as bad as the other - anyone that says different cant see through the tinted glasses.
Alliance, SDLP and strands of UUP are at least looking outside the box - SF & DUP is all about usuns & themmuns as their manifesto's demonstrated

Completely agree.
I think I called it depressing before the election..........after the election I would call it the same old depressing shite.
Usuns v themmuns
