Hmm ,  forgive me  for  being a tad  cynical about it all

Climate change will be the last thing these shower of cnuts will be talking about at this gathering.

Climate change is real. But it is being used as an excuse to tax the shit out of us which is disgraceful.

Just don't come out with I'm being taxed the shit out off it!

Hold on, we've 10s of millions of flights / year, most of us taking multiple flights / year ourselves, yet you're cynical re climate change because 200 planes are taking World leaders to try and find solutions? OK

Well, you have that  bit  correct anyway .  They'll "find solutions" no doubt .  Solutions  to how they and their buddies can  continue to cash in , and  solutions on how the peasants will  be  less well off, with  more controls placed on them.

It's 200 countries,  not 200 planes.  And I am aware of the number of flights, but  it's the hypocrisy of the  whole thing.

And did you never  wonder  why they have  it in an oil rich state?

The best decision for the world would be for humans to neuter their children and to make do with a meager existence (if you're not rich enough to buy the carbon credits that is)

Given the decline in the birthrate there is no need to neuter the children, they will spend all their time on tik-tok anyway.

100%. It's already been getting traction for a couple of years now. Small Modular Reactors are much safer than the larger nuclear powers plants. Microsoft and Oracle are already using these in their data centre build outs.

Did they have it in an oil rich state in 2021? Or 2019? Or 2018? Or 2017? Or 2016? Or 2015? Or 2014? Or 2013?

They've found plenty of solutions - in Europe - greenhouses gases are almost 40% lower than levels found in 1990

So (taking that number as a given) it's taken 35 years to reduce the 1990 number by 40% and you reckon we'll be able to make the same progress in the next 10 with minimal impact to quality of life?
