I generally avoid as best I can. Notable misses include Downton Abbey, Call the midwife, the handmaid's tale, the gilmore girls, greys anatomy.

Thankfully there is no interest in soaps, dancing shows, or singing shows. I'm a celebrity does get a run out and I actually quite like that one myself too.

I may need a chat with you. I think we may be married to the same woman

But with it approaching 'holiday season' here the absolute worst is everything on the Hallmark channel...big city hotshot female visits small village in up state Vermont during Christmas time. She falls for local rugged bachelor, some sort of misunderstanding ensues between them, she leaves back for the city (huffy bitch), he chases her down and clears up the misunderstanding and they live happily ever after! Same shite rinse and repeat
;D that shite will be on in our house too! There must a set specifically for those types of movies. Don't forget the European Prince who falls for the American girl.

It's a cross worth bearing as AI champions....

Luckily we have similar tastes in most TV but there's a pile of dung she watches by times which I leave her to it and go and listen to the wireless and read!

I like a bit of the Hoof GP myself, mostly on Youtube though.

Certain stuff she won't watch around me due to my incredulity! The various Real Housewives series, and yer man Andy Cohen who analyzes and interviews "stars" of said shows. Others like Below Deck, Love Island etc. On a less trashy front, I'm not that interested in true crime stuff, so she generally watches that on her own too.

I did develop an interest in the American version of Antiques Roadshow, as well as the odd series of Survivor and, more recently, the Alan Cummings version of The Traitors, due to watching it with her. British Bake-off is something I love but would never have given a chance without her. Same with Anthony Bourdain.

She was watching Traitors one night - I thought it was the usual reality guff.

But it is actually great viewing
