The kneecap movie is on prime and it's brilliant.

Milltown Row2

Had a sneaky mid week school night out at The Avenue to watch Gladiator, not as good as the first but certainly enjoyed it and its many references to the original.

Spent clean fortune but was nice to break up the week
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Milltown Row2

Can't remember this one when it came out at the time

The Infiltrator with Byron Cranston...

The balls these guys had to do this when the repercussions were deadly or they were just mad!

Enjoyed the shit out of it this evening as poor as it was!

I was in a friend's house, a foreigner no less (from USA), It came down to either watch zombie cráp or Kneecap, so I had little choice but to vote for Kneecap. Safe to say I was totally pessimistic but was totally taken in by it all from the beginning. As a nine county nordie I didn't think the 6 county nordie had it in them, but there's hope yet.

I had it in my head that it was going to be some documentary style film but thought it was brilliant.

2 cinema trips at the weekend past.

Wicked (Part1) - I went a couple of years ago and saw the show in London's West End. It was fantastic and thus I was excited to go and see this. 20 mins in and I was a little unsure that I liked what they had done, but that feeling soon passed.  It's a great show and I'll certainly be looking forward to Part 2. Obviously avoid if you dont like musicals. 8/10

Conclave - I have read this book, so I knew the story and what to expect. Again I thought it was really well done.  Slow in places, but well performed and a very interesting theme (for me anyway). 7.5/10

Incidentally I took in a classic as we were in the mood for a Christmas film and we'd neither seen White Christmas. There's very little Christmas about the film  ;D  but I thoroughly enjoyed it and glad that I've now watched it.

Took my 12 year old boys to see Red One at the weekend, they loved it.
6/10 for me, a bit meh.

Captain Obvious

Cillian Murphy spotted in the trailer for next summers 28 years later movie.

Never been to wicked the musical so didn't know what to expect with the film. The movie dragged badly until they got to the emerald city and then it finally got interesting. Goldblum was good as the the wizard.  The music/songs were very bland and instantly forgettable. For such a well known musical I was expecting to recognise a song or 2 but nope. Overall 6/10

I heard a similar comment the other day, when someone said it was OK but it has no real standout songs. I found that strange as I'd be well familiar with nearly all of the songs.

Yet certainly understandable.

Milltown Row2

Have now watched all 3 of the movies A quiet place.

As an older man I'm getting worse at holding in the emotions

Gladiator up there with the worst films I've ever seen. Like the school play version of the first movie.
Fantasy Rugby World Cup Champion 2011,
Fantasy 6 Nations Champion 2014

Watched Kneecap last night, was not expecting much but can see why it's getting such acclaim. It was absolutely unreal, the music was brilliant and some real laugh out loud moments. Definitely give it a watch.

imtommygunn

Watched it two nights ago myself. Definitely enjoyable. Some of the scenes in it are hilarious.

Anyone watch tulsa king series 2? Halfway through it and still a bit unsure tbh
