Captain Scarlet

This may be on the FAI thread but I said I'd start one and we can all laugh at the various meltdowns...

All the usual doses saying he had to be an English man - WHO?! Howe, Potter, Lampard...
Then Rooney moaning about them ripping up their coaching system...the one that had Carsley as the annointed one until they turfed him out.

Then on the flip if it was Pep or Klopp they wouldn't be giving out about foreign coaches.

This is going to be hilarious!
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

They do love a good moan. The reality is that there isnt any good English managers, hence why they had Southgate in place. I think they're more upset that they've hired a German than anything else. I hope none of them dig to deeply into their royal family.

They need a strong character who picks a team, to play to a style, and doesnt try to shoehorn in players because the media says they should start. Someone who really doesnt care what the public thinks... maybe Tuchel is that man.

Tuchel's a very good coach and tactician. You'd think he'll do a good job for them.

Of course at international level you've far fewer games and you're thus more exposed to random things proving costly than in a long league campaign.

I get the impression  he won't be there long.

The English FA seem to  insist on someone    to say all the right  things and not upset the apple cart.

He seems the  type to stick two fingers up and walk  away if the suits try to  tell him what to do.

Does he know the words of "Two World Wars and One World Cup"?
