What are  you even doing here   if you're not going to take this  seriously ?   ;D

No offence, but this is such a tiresome thread. People listing (in the main) really popular songs from really popular Bands/Groups/Individuals.

It's as thought provoking as the arguments of who is the best football player in the world during the Messi/Ronaldo era.

You should try out the US threads, or Russian and Israel threads, they are tiresome
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

I find a lot of threads on here tiresome. I just don't go on them. Hope this helps

3. Your Song. An impossibly moving ballad. I mean everyone in the world sings this song and they all want to sing it just like him. And fail.

2. Tiny Dancer. An odd one for me. Didn't appreciate it at first, but it has become perhaps Reg's most timeless tune of all. It doesn't really have a genre... apart from being Elton being magnificent.

1. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. I wasn't sure about Elton as a teenager. You know him being a big gaylord and all that, made it difficult for this angsty young man to commit to his music. But I watched a concert on tv one night when three quarter cut. And this is the song that converted me (to his music). Bought his greatest hits the next day and have loved that collection ever since.

Well that was  sort of the whole point. A band/singer with maybe  20+ hits , and you have to narrow  it down to your favourite three.  Depending on your liking of said artist , that could be an impossible task

It's also a  good thread  for maybe delving into someone  you aren't a fan of, just by others recommendations..

But most of all , it's just a  bit of craic .

By the way , fell free to recommend a band/singer we could do later. After  we do Steps , of course!  ;D

I thought he didn't come out for a fair bit into his career or have I got that wrong? Was he not married?

Not that it matters. Some my best friends are gay

You are correct. Read his autobiography a few years ago. It's pretty good.
