Quote from: Champion The Wonder Horse on May 14, 2025, 03:02:27 PMTickets just went on sale. No stand tickets.

Just had an elderly relative message to say the same thing.

Will there be seating tickets available at a later date?

Season ticket holders and corporate gigs will get the bulk of them.

Wouldnt have expected Derry to have many. Armagh must have plenty of ST

General discussion / Re: Easyjet refunds?
March 21, 2025, 03:58:54 PM
Quote from: Orior on March 21, 2025, 02:26:47 PMI had flights booked for the summer with Easyjet costing £50. But I have to cancel, and my options appear to be:
1) Change the flights online and pay additional £150
2) Don't bother changing the flights, and just book new flights, which also works out about £150
3) Don't go, and the Easyjet plane takes off with an empty seat

There does not appear to be an option to cancel the original flights.

Is a refund from Easyjet as hard to get as a full Leitrim squad for the league?

You have as much chance of Leitrim winning the Sam than getting a refund (unless you have a felxible ticket)

Best just booking new flights if the price of changing is the same

I was unable to field as I was recovering from a weekend at McCabe's B&B in Keady.

I also missed a weekend for similar reasons - but it most certainly wasnt in Keady.

Cant believe I didnt get Mrs Browns tickets for winning last week  :-[

General discussion / Re: The Many Faces of US Politics...
February 18, 2025, 12:29:14 PM
Rarely post in this thread given its like a madhouse most of the time.

However I did read a piece that was written about Trump going for presidency and thought it made sense (could have been written before his first term but point remains). The reason I was reading up was because I was trying to understand why some of my work colleagues would vote for Trump

The piece went that the American voting public could be like the passengers onboard United Airlines Flight 93.They know they are in trouble either way - allow the plane to continue and they will crash into somewhere DC which will cause untold death on the ground along with the passengers or try an over power the hijackers and crash and somewhere thus reducing civilian deaths.

So the American public just think Trump is the lesser of two evils. Many voters thought the country was going too far left in its current guise so voted to stop what they see as madness.

It is amazing that a country with over 350m has got to this.
Imagine Trump being the leader of the free world - how fucked up does your country have to be that you think he is the only solution to the direction you are taking?
