I see the papers have listed some of the people stung by Carey. No mention of Worzel Gummidge otherwise known as John Power.
He was supposed to be out of pocket by a 6 figure sum.

I also think a good co-commentator is important, for instance Michael Duignan in hurling really adds to it as he spots things going on the commentator is not aware of.

Duignan can never be taken seriously because of his infatuation with Kilkenny during the Cody era.
He was drooling into the microphone at the sight of black and amber.
He hates Tipp and should not be allowed near the commentary box when we're playing.

Big difference between being the studio link with a few scripted questions and the commentator having to think on their feet.

Deviancy has always existed but the Internet has really supercharged this. Id say if you were to survey the population at large you'd find fairly terrifying results.

Was going to mention internet. It's opened up some opoortunities for everybody but with that comes the dark side also.

A friendly reminder: Tipp went winless in 2018.  They won the All Ireland the next year.  They went winless in 2024.  The next year...

We've already dumped Clare out on their home patch, sent Waterford packing too, didn't give Galway a sniff of it last day out. We're unbeaten since April.

Now we're facing a county with no All Ireland in 10 YEARS, who got here via a glorified Joe McDonagh provincial competition, still looking to a pensioner in TJ Reid, putting sellotape on Eoin Cody to get him back....and people are starting to think that maybe we have a chance

The top three in Munster will be Clare and Limerick who will decide the Munster Final. Tipp will be in third place.
The top three in Leinster will be Kilkenny and Dublin who will decide the Leinster Final. Offaly will be in third place.

Clare won't make it out of Munster. The big 3 of Tipp, Cork and Limerick will.

It is more certain now that Clare won't even get out of Munster. The worst All Ireland winners since 2013.

Maybe even the worst winners since Wexford in 1996?

Clare are out after losing to Tip. They gave Tip a 4 goal headstart which was too much to overcome in the inevitable second half comeback. Clare were badly hit by injuries to some of their best players this year.

Or simply Clare are no great shakes!

Fair play to them, raising awareness and using their platform when many others aren't.
