How do you work out sopcast channels though?  Is there a list of channels that show football etc..

No, you need to go to different sites to get the links, I use footballvip to get the streams. I am sure others use different sites

Pay 6 for 2 months worth. Has all the premiership games with english commentry. Also shows eveything which is on sky sports. Can stream in HD as well.

They only allow some registrations at a time. Not sure when they open it up again. Worth keeping an eye out for when it opens again.
