Quote from: theticklemister on June 16, 2025, 08:15:06 PMHere's one......

A ref blows a whistle, and realizes it's a mistake. For example, blows a free thinking the fella was inside the arc and received the ball from a kickout, but he was wrong and he was outside. He realizes his mistake and tells everyone he made a mistake.

He still gives the free against the team because he said he made a decision and has to stick to it.

Is this correct?

Yes and no

Common sense tells the ref to get the keeper to retake the the kick or give a hop ball.. but if a ref has indicated a free and given it, then by rule book must carry on..

Different if the ref blows for an obvious free for one team and mistakenly raises hand the other way, but waves it back straight away

Strange year for teams to be beaten twice and still favourites

The current Cargin manager has to be in the mix if he was interested. Its hard to know if you are a coach/manager, an up and coming one, what would be best for your development, the Antrim job can be a graveyard for managers that move on..

As for ones saying there's no pressure? The pressure is on it from the start, the minute he makes his panel of coaching staff to his first panel of players named

Thankless task and you'd need the skin of a rhino to brush off the criticism

Watched it live, didn't think it was a foot block and few times in slow mo and still don't think it was.

I don't think there was many complaints by the players

No foot block no black for Murphy he was cute and just stood his ground.. possibly black card for him at the end though..

Some game all the same. Mayo couldn't create a foul at the end as they couldn't catch the Donegal lad..

Football is good now

Quote from: Jonkunlon on June 13, 2025, 11:34:51 AMGive North Antrim and St Endas the opportunity to deal with it and go to the police. Who was the referee? He will have it in his report. You can't miss something like that.

Is it not all county at that level?

I'm not buying that

He produced some great stuff but no where near these two

For me, that is

Do you agree on anything?  ;D

Maybe not in terms of the sheer volume of quality material but I'd have him in their company.  He also was a major stimulant for them from the mid 60s onwards.  It's been well documented over the years that they took inspiration from his innovative sounds and that drove them on to Sgt Pepper.   The 60s would have been a very different era without his music.

Sound like my wife lol

How anyone survived that is truly remarkable

Could also say the details of what seat he was in in the headline are a wtf moment. The man survived a plane crash. His seat number seems a bit superfluous.

Yes, he was next to the emergency exit! Those seats will be sold out quicker now!

Was he learning Spanish whilst dragging his heels over the Liverpool contract?

Or was educated lad that learnt another language

Nope, said he'd been learning for months. Maybe he just had a cultural interest in Spainish and only decided to join Madrid a few weeks ago. Is that what you're going to say next?

Who cares? Literally? The amount of gurning online over a player leaving
