Brilliant series. Better that Breaking Bad imo and up there with Sopranos albeit quite different. The characters in The Wire are brilliant, cops and all...

Upwards of 150k more like. Men, that racist emmigrant is an absolute disgrace, best avoided.. Like who spends so much time on a gaaboard and never discusses the gaa?
And mods let him justify genocide... 🤷

Maybe the mods actually read my posts (unlike most of the people on here)

I have never once justified genocide, nor have I uttered one racist comment on here

My questions are what did Hamas hope to accomplish by their actions on October 7th and how did they think Israel would react?

As I say..  justifying genocide.

How many are we expecting to attend this game?

3,000?
I've no idea but I'm sure will be substantial.

Quote from: imtommygunn on October 08, 2024, 04:15:25 PMIt would appear that is what he's trying to do anyway.

I mean something will eventually be a step too far for the "international" world. I don't know what is given what has already gone on mind you but jesus where does it stop.
The presence of UN peacekeepers leaves Israel having to be more careful with how they conduct their assaults. If they were to pull out, Israel could escalate. As for now I think they know that the killing of UN peacekeepers would be a step too far even for them.
Heard an interview today from an IDF fella and the tone seemed to be we asked you to leave so if you're killed it's your own fault. We'll have to wait and see what happens
Not only IDF and not even making out it could be accidental.

Matthew RJ Brodsky eh, what a keeper.
Are we surprised? That's the level of far right US evil that is supporting Israel's genocide... Biden's camp included.

I can't agree with his assertion that the winners was all down to a home manager buy-in by players. While I agree the payment and movement of club managers is a plague, some have been hugely successful: O'Rourke.. Moran.. £££.
Probly should have left the football out as it went on to be a very powerful podcast about the horrors being inflicted by Israel sponsored by US and the control of the media...

Don't know why that apologist for genocide is allowed to post on this board. Obnoxious.

Quote from: whitey on October 08, 2024, 07:05:46 PMSo we have unanimous condemnation of Israel's response to the October 7th attack, but not one person is willing to share what they think an appropriate response would have been.

Secondly, not one person (well maybe one) has been able to articulate what Hamas hoped to achieve by their actions on October 7th.

And BTW-saying that this "all began long before October 7th" is another way of saying the Israelis had it coming to them and deserve everything they got

Man leaves his house every  morning. As he walks past his neighbour's house  , their dog is sat minding his own business,  so he  sticks his boot in the dog for no reason. He does this  for years until one day the  dog sees him coming and  runs up and sinks his teeth into  him, drawing  blood.

Man takes his gun and  shoots the dog. Then  shoots every other dog in  the vicinity.

What did the  neighbour's dog hope to  achieve by biting the man?  Him and  all his dog buddies are  now dead. What a silly dog.

Man's neighbours  shake  his hand for  blowing the heads off all those troublesome  dogs.

Anyway, back to  that cake making show....

So Hamas were justified in their actions on October 7th-fair enough if that's what your opinion is.

So following your logic, if dissident Republicans forcibly seized power from Sinn Fein and reignited the conflict they'd be perfectly within their rights to do so and you'd support them?

Interesting

Far right white man from the Willie McCrea school of genocide ... in such a scenario carpet bomb Nationalist areas killing as many children, women and civilian men as possible.

I know Joe Brolly is not flavour of the year on this board, but his podcast with Dion Fanning today on the atrocities being carried out by Israel, including the deliberate murder of children, is chilling. And how the media puppets have been told to deal with it. Depressing and stark listening...

Def in Derry City's hands though at times you'd think them or Shels don't want to win it, the way they drop points.
With Derry home to Shels last game.. the double is very much on.

Quote from: Batman12345 on October 02, 2024, 10:55:36 PMTrillick v Dungannon

Very tight game. Feel it will be nip and tuck, but Trillick to maintain control in the last 5 minutes and see out the game.

Errigal v Killyclogher

Errigal to get a few soft frees towards the end and win by one or two. However if Bradley is on form he could be hard stopped, been player of the championship so far.

Moortown v Derrylaughan

will be a slug fest, expect hard hits and a lack of quality. Think Derrylaughan will get over the line, hearing reports that the vibes in the moortown camp have taken a hit in the last few weeks.

Moy v Greencastle

Difference will be Conroy and the experience of the Cavnaghs. Moy by 3.

Nearly spot on. If the ref wasn't playing for the draw in the moy game predictions would've been correct. Obvious the refs have been told to play for the draw. Disgusting.
Tell the bookie you were nearly right! 😆

Am old enough to remember! Neeskens was a great player... part of Holland team attributed with creating 'total football'... apparently thats: "a tactical system in which any outfield player can take over the role of any other player" ...
Whatever it was, they were brilliant: shuda won '74 World Cup..
