I'm sticking with my opinion , the only team in Ireland capable of beating Dublin is Mayo.

We will not beat the Ross though.

If you can't beat and beat Roscommon well you will not be capable of beating Dublin. In my opinion the only side that will be capable of beating Dublin in this years championship will be Dublin themselves.

So the conclusion by most is Mayo are sh ite.

Now I very rarely post anything truthful but let me say this much , Mayo are shit e.

It's surely a pointless exercise typing mayos results since Horan took over, sure ye know them. SF and two finals, etc etc to prove they're not sh ite?

Ye can analyse and over analyse till the cows come home but the long and short of it is simple, there is only one team in Ireland at present capable of beating Dublin.
If you are looking for capable sides Mayo would be in the same bracket as Tyrone,Donegal,Cork,Kerry in my opinion and its not known yet if Mayo will be at level they were last year.

Some neutral supporters will always see Mayo as the Jimmy White of GAA and even though Jimmy had a habit of losing big finals like Mayo nobody thought White was shite. Law of average would suggest Mayo should win senior All Ireland eventually however the clock is ticking on this Mayo side and the manner of the last two All Ireland final defeats has legs, minds become weary and has the boat sailed for this Mayo panel?

Nothing in c'ship so far to suggest any dark horse challengers. Tyrone and Donegal look quarter material at best.

Tyrone,Donegal could beat Kerry,Mayo this summer however i hope Dublin gets a few challengers and its doesn't become a one horse race.

McGrath names three debutants for Antrim clash

Twins Lee and Che Cullen along with Paul McCusker will make their championship debuts for Fermanagh on Sunday against Antrim after being named in Pete McGrath's starting 15.

Twins Lee and Che Cullen along with Paul McCusker will make their championship debuts for Fermanagh on Sunday against Antrim after being named in Pete McGrath's starting 15.
The Cullen duo have impressed during the league and have both been selected in the full back line alongside the experienced Johnny Woods although Lee played in the half forward line during the Division Three campaign.

Midfielder Richard O'Callaghan makes his first Ulster Championship start having previously been introduced as a late substitute against Derry in Celtic Park in 2011 and will partner captain Eoin Donnelly.
Ederney's Paul McCusker is another to be handed a championship debut and will line out in a half forward line that also includes Eamon Maguire and Ryan Jones.
Two time All Star full back Barry Owens has been named at full forward by McGrath where he will be flanked by Tomas Corrigan and Sean Quigley.

Fermanagh
C. Snow; J. Woods, C. Cullen, L. Cullen; D. McCusker, R. McCluskey, T. McElroy; Eoin Donnelly, R. O'Callaghan; E. Maguire, R. Jones, P. McCusker; T. Corrigan, B. Owens, S. Quigley.

Never would have guessed he was in his 80's.

His legacy is obvious in Tampa taking a team from obscurity (winning only 87 games in 19 seasons / average of 5 wins per season) to winning the Superbowl in less than 8 years after taking over. Although they have done little since.

With Manchester its harder to call as he had a perfectly functioning club, all he had to do was make sure he didn't mess it up. Obviously I know little of english football but I would be curious to know if it is thought he brought anything different to Manchester (other than debt).

When taking over in 2005 Chelsea were the best side in England by three years Manchester United were the best side in Europe however most of that was down to Alex Ferguson.

Conor McHugh was man of the match in the All Ireland Semi and final, the likely winner. Costello was class too.

I thought both Michael Argue,Killian Clarke had better under-21 championships than McHugh or Costello however a player from the All Ireland winners nearly always wins these awards.

That's serious money Gabriel, didn't realise the value of these deals. Standard chartered get much better value than Garuda though..

Seen from a reliable twitter source (if that exists) that Garuda are inline to sponsor the redeveloped main stand as well.

I won't believe it until my three cuz from Liverpool confirm it.

FFS lads. Ballinaman is just picking what he thinks Horan will pick. That's how I read it anyway.

If so doesn't Horan always start Alan Dillon and Alan Freeman when fit?

You're slackin this year, Cap.

How so? and another reason for Freeman to be given a start.

Top scorers in Division 1

Mark Lynch, Derry 2-44 (50)
James O'Donoghue, Kerry 5-24 (39)
Alan Freeman, Mayo 4-22 (34)
Brian Hurley, Cork 1-30 (33)
Darroch Mulhall, Kildare 1-27 (30)
Darren McCurry, Tyrone 3-21 (30)
Kevin McLoughlin, Mayo 1-24 (27)
Kevin McManamon, Dublin 3-17 (26)

Antrim at the level Fermanagh were in three years ago. Fermanagh at home should win this game by four to six points.

Bottom line is that Armagh Minors scored 19 points against one of the favourites to win the AI and they are out of the competition. That can't be right.

Cavan were one of the fav to win minor AI? Really?!
You quoted a post from two years ago when Armagh scored 19 points against Tyrone.

GAA should scrap u.21 and increase minor to U.19. There would be no exam conflicting and it means the less grades means that young top players wouldn't suffer burnout and over training

It would make more since to scrap pre-season competitions McKenna,O.Byrne cup and play college, club competitions before the end of year instead of February,March.

Honestly think Galway will have a very big say in this year's championship.

For all Mayo's recent improvement and record in CP they will never imo anyway have the sense of menace that even a unheralded  Galway team has  arriving in CP.

This is Galway, the county who haven't won a match in Croke Park in 13 years? Very menacing alright...

I think Donegal's win against Kildare in 2011 was their first championship win in Croke park since 1992?* if the players are there anything is possible with the right management, game plan and system in place.

*I'm wrong Donegal played Armagh in the 2003 semi final and it was Galway that Donegal bet back then.
