Antrim find it hard away from home.

Corrigan Park seems small and tight compared to other pitches.  That could be their downfall.

Saffrongael

That was as bad as I have seen in a game they should have been competitive in, totally clueless on and off the pitch.
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Woeful today. From boys missing uncontested jab lifts, taking the guts of an hour to realise the ref was sore on steps. Soft in defence. Acres of space for Offaly and poor in possession.  Only positive from that is we'll be favourites for the Joe McDonagh in 2026.

Around the glens

Can only assume the manager has took some gripe towards Ryan mcgarry, there's no way he's not good enough to start in that backline.

I think we had a poster here the other day talking about league finals and Div 1A  :(

Trust the process.

Where any of us expecting that?.. not great. I wasn't expecting such a poor performance. Lads looked heavy on feet and just rusty on the ball. Don't know what happened... frustrating to say least.. yeah what's going on with Ryan McGarry being left out? Should be starting in my opinion.

Thought Antrim would today, never seen game but Offaly would have been targeting us, we've done well against them these last few years but they have been steadily building.

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

OakLeaf

Poor enough performance. Basic mistakes all over the field. Wee Davy has a job on his hands to get them going again. Far better players than they showed today.

A facile win in the minor championship today, we played our U-16 panel in this last year - I thought that would be the case again.

Travelled to the game today. Started off well (like first 5 mins) but we just couldn't contain them. A lot of comments about Antrim being poor but Offaly were very very good.

Our level is better than we performed today but Davy's focus has to be championship and thankfully he has some time to make changes and get the lads motoring.

You need to take your lickens, and today we got licked!

I'm going to trust in the process...

Antrim miles off it, so many unforced errors.

Some lads look completely unfit into the bargain, as bad a performance as i can remember.

The only thing I can think of and put some hope into is they're in the middle of a heavy block of training which could pay off later in the year but that's probably reaching.

I feared after watching the Westmeath game that our style was a bit open and might come unstuck against top teams. Looked like it's kicked in already and we'll play a lot of teams better than Offaly this year.

Offaly were very physical and their technical skills were outstanding. They were missing a few key players which is concerning as we appeared to be at full tilt.

I think we will learn a lot from today. Davy is getting to know his squad and transition from one management team to another will sometimes be littered with bumps on the road. We had several relatively inexperienced players at this level playing today so it's a good learning for them.

If this turns out to be a disappointing season for us then I hope Davy sticks with it. The last thing we need is chopping and changing after 5 good years for our senior team. Davys experience is vast and it will help us just like Darren did.

Early days.
