A lot of players will be on the phone to their agents..
And the agents will be telling them to sit tight because you won't get those wages anywhere else.

£1.3B for a 28% stake and them running out of cash.
Either Jim's legal team aren't great at due diligence or he's telling porkies.

Jim takes advice from Jason Wilcox, that is all

Wondering if this is ploy to get the Glazers to sell up to him at a reduced rate, if there is no money in the club they will be liable for the loan repayments themselves?

There seems to be loads of contradictions in what he says, but I guess fans will give him a little time to set the direction and see how that goes.

Look-Up!

Does seem a little unbelievable he didn't have a wee peek at the books before handing over nearly 2 billion dollars for a minority stake in the club.

He's being a whinge. He's trying to reduce any sort of blame being cast his way. Bemoaning the fact that he has to continue to pay installments for players bought before he came on board, as if that isn't standard practice. He thinks the average football fan is a stupid moron who'll just blindly follow what he says and shout louder at the Glazers and previous management.

I'm sure the other areas of his business pony up for 100% of the dough at the point of purchase  ::)

In fairness I'd be whinging too if I had to still pay off millions on pure shite like Antony and Onana lol

Perfectly choreographed to be released at this stage.

Good day to bury bad news

Bad news, £1bn in debt

Good news, building a stadium for £2bn and it looks like shite

Out of touch these clowns

It's funny you use that word because it literally looks like a circus tent.

They haven't the cash to feed Barbara in accounts but can splash 2 billion on a Big Top.
Who will get the naming rights ?
Fossetts Circus?
Neutral.

NAG1

Not a massive fan of the design and since it looks like an artists impression doubtful it will end up looking exactly like that.
But the thing is to get back to where they want to be they need a world class stadium and fan experience.

There will be no issue raising the cash to get it built so sooner the better.

Fred the Red  to be replaced by Pennywise the clown

Penny wise, pound foolish,  and all that . Quite apt

Radcliffe said yesterday to Gary Neville it's requires the government to fund the stadium and they normally focus on London for such projects than the North of England.

98 million they still owe on transfers he said including Sancho who was bought 4 years ago and Anthony both no longer at the club and probably sold eventually. Any half organised club would surely run their business a bit better than that?

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose
