All I could hear was the PSG fans. Biggest game since 2006 and needed multiple players to wave the arms around to get the crowd to make any noise.

PSG played well tonight but couldn't finish the job. Arsenal just won in Madrid a few weeks ago so not over yet but will be a difficult task

We sure do, including Arsenal...

Wonder will Odegaard bring his camera this time?!

It's super strange that it's all us Liverpool fans who are triggered when we are winning the league, thus climbing back on to our perch, and our biggest rivals are destined for a 17th place finish...any sane person would think it'd be them who's triggered!

Hear lads I am not sure if you know but you're actually not allowed to talk about utd on this discussion board, not on this utd thread and especially not on the premier league thread, even though Man Utd are the Premier League!

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on April 21, 2025, 08:36:58 AMHow Utd still grab the posts is beyond me. They are dung but still get most of the media attention.

As for finishing positions a great Liverpool manager had a line about that... now how did it go....

Utd won't get past the next game and if they did Spurs are better
Because united are always headline news. No matter how bad or good they are.
Manchester United are the Premier league.
Deal with it.

 ;D

That reminds me of the infamous Dirk Diggler 'It's my big dick' quote

Utd could be on course to finish 17th. They have a tough run in...away to Bournemouth and Brentford before a proper 6 pointer against west ham. They have the Europa league semi's (that they will surely prioritize) sandwiched in between those 3 games, then they wrap it away to Chelsea and home to Villa who will probably be still chasing champions league football.

Think he's gone as well but just hoping there will be a Gerrard Istanbul 'how can I leave now' moment after winning the title that might convince him of what could be

100%

It's the weakest league in a long time

Weak or strong I don't care as long as we're winning them. The league being weak is no consolation if we finished second or third.

Ye need to take your sarcasm detector in for a service mate

At the time was thinking the Lyon players over celebrated when they scored the pen

Anyone think Trent gets swayed by the emotion of winning the league, Anfield crowd, family etc...does a u-turn and stays?

Aye thought about Elliott but think he might be happy enough to hang around for a year cause he loves the club...would depend on his contract length though.

Bournemouth supposedly interested in Kelleher so maybe a deal for Kerkez and Huijsen could be in the offing
