The theatrics during the second half of that game is what makes soccer one of the worst team sports about!

Quote from: marty34 on July 13, 2025, 05:58:26 PMHarte on the circuit big time and has been for years.  Can't get enough of it.

You'd think that he'd sit nd watch the match at home. Like Mc Conville too, into the media all the time.

Mc Ginley is knowledgeable. Good live match analysis in my opinion.

If someone is willing to give a decent wage doing commentary you'll take it..

I know a lad that was just doing the odd voice over stuff for adds on radio and tv, pretty good money for nothing.

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on July 13, 2025, 04:10:32 PMMurphy got away with one

No surprise there , deliberately takes a man out, black card...not a chance

There was definitely a movement to the man, but as I said earlier Faloon ref's it like a hurling man

Meath have a chance, it's a small chance, a silly mistake a sending off also could give Meath a chance, though the ref wouldn't be known to be flashing cards

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on July 13, 2025, 02:47:54 PMNo time limit but we can't keep the hand up forever so within 5 seconds the ref will make a decision based on the play..

I've yet to see an advantage given for anything longer bar the player making a mark from ball kicked into the 21 from outside the 45

Has anybody seen this applied for over 10 seconds?

I've seen it well over 10 seconds in multiple games especially when the play is in near the goals.

I haven't unless like I said it was the 'mark'

And it states goal scoring opportunity, can I apply that from defensive area, unlimited time?
