Good to see London's top two clubs going head to head in this year's Carling Cup Final. Also I have no doubt that neither's players will disgrace the game or the occasion by fighting amongst each other should their opponents gain a two or three goal advantage ;D

Statistics are like a bikini. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital.

Not that I ever claimed Spurs to be in the top two in London, not as blinkered as that, but whatever about that I'd expect Spurs, with a good run-in interms of opposition, to catch up on the teams above them like W*** H** and Blackburn, unlikely to get up in contention with City/Villa etc though. And I suspect the Gooners will drop another place before the season's out. And be trophyless again.

Now that is just sad....If i had all the DVD'S from every game Arsenal have beaten Spuds since wenger took over i'd be out a fortune.....
One win and everythings rosy?
There is no I in team, but if you look close enough you can find ME

Damn, have to take notice off that because if one thing a Spuds fan knows something about it's not winning trophies  8)

What an acheivement that will be - finishing above The Mighty Blackburn Rovers, how will they get the 10 point turn around then?
Wasnt this the team that was going to break the top four in August - strange, very strange!

Spurs in talks with Woodgate  :o

I think spurs have enough problems keeping players fit without buying someone as injury prone as him.

Well Blackburn haven't been terribly consistent for the last while. Bear in mind last year Spurs were about mid-table at the half way stage, having not had a great start, and put in a great run of run of form in the spring to claim 5th, albeit a slightly distant 5th. The record under Ramos is quite good, plus after the next few weeks we'll have United, Arsenal and Chelsea out of the way as regards the league, so it's possible they could repeat last season. however 4th-7th are out of reach I would think. So the cups take on even more importance as a result. Doesn't help any team chasing 4th or 5th, if they are stuck in the drop zone by the end of October, with just the one win to their credit. At least that much is behind us now.

A trip to OT on Sunday, never an easy task, but with the boost from the Gooners game who knows? Would be content if they take them back to the Lane though.

Breaking news on Sky Sports they are looking to sign Caros Puyol, why when they have Michael Dawson?
