Is there any end to the tinkering that pundits would have us do with the rules, competition and structures?

McStay at it now - and we have new interim format this year to be replaced by a further change next year.

I think McStay is right. I think you would get a lot more but in to 3 and a lot more edge to these season with teams trying to get into or stay in a higher level competition
