Oasis have been revealed as the headline act for next years Slane, Should be brilliant, Havent been down in slane since U2, How much are the tickets? and anyone any idea when exactly it is?

thats great news!! i was at them when they supported REM, really shouldve been the other way round. will definitely go for nostalgias sake not to mention i think the new album is great - falling down is a good a song as noel has ever written

Oasis are one of the most frustrating bands I have ever heard. I absolutely love their sound and their production, but their songs, 8 times out of 10, are just dull. And even their excellent songs, like Whatever or Don't Look Back in Anger, have bits stolen from others, although maybe its the familiarity that accounts for their appeal.
