I was wondering if my northern cousins could tell me if the great card game of 25 (45 to some, and 31 to the odd boys in Kerry), is a cross community game in the north or not?

Cheers hardstation.  Missed that thread.  Did anyone try the online 45?

My grandmother reared us playing 25 - great game, but I completely forget how to play it now.

Is that the game where the 5 of trumph is the best card, followed by the naive and then the ace of hearts?

I'm not a card player. Brother tried to teach me Texas Hold 'em a few weeks ago. Was pulling his hair out at the end. Still beat him though ;)

Nor me. My granny's house used to have a big card school, every Saturday tea time, when I was a kid. They played loads of different games but I've never heard of 25.
