No one said that there was a Derrytresk revival. Its well accepted Pomeroy were in the ascendancy. I would be very careful about making allegations without any medical evidence to support them. There is a man receiving surgery today having sustained a fracture of the eye socket. The fact is a Pomeroy supporter cleared the fence ran towards the linesman (who never saw it coming) and hit him from the side. The man then  tried to defend himself and slipped on the wet ground. From what I heard the person who cleared the fence had engaged in a verbal's with the linesman and was told to shut the fcuk up. If the Pomeroy supporter was assaulted what are his injuries? I have also heard on good authority the individual is not particularly well thought of in Pomeroy. His actions have cost his team 2 league points, he will receive a hefty suspension and some sort of penalty will be meted  out to his club. So if Pomeroy are aggrieved at what happened yesterday then then they have their supporter to thank.

I'm not making allegations, I'm stating facts. The linesman approached the fella in question and assaulted him. If there are to be repercussions, surely Derrytresk will be met with similar penalties as the linesman instigated the altercation. In no way am I condoning what happened but assaulting someone doesn't necessarily result in visible injuries. In fact in no way did this altercation suit Pomeroy as the game was over as a contest. These sort of occurrences seem to follow Derrytresk for some reason.

LOL laughable. At the game as a Neutral, yes there was verbals but the Pomeroy fella blind sided the linesman (talk of surgery and a broken eye socket) Complete Disgrace. Sounds like Pomeroy are immediately trying to defuse their part. Any truth in rumours the fella was in the stands as a result of being sent off in the previous weeks reserve game?? Local word down here is the PSNI will be involved if serious injury is confirmed. Has to be noted that No players from either team were involved and both looked very surprised when the Ref abandoned the game

Brian McGuigan on the Sunday Game... who is driving this RTE ban?... not the players anyway

What are you talking about, All Tyrone people aren't banned from speaking to the media? Harte won't do it so his players are backing him. Brian does not play for Harte anymore? What exactly is the problem here?

Heard a story about the time Jordan went on Sunday Game panel - Harte rang him to ask him not to do it and Jordan had to tell him where to go as he wasn't one of his players anymore. Anyone else ever hear that one - could just be a story though! Mickey would be a bit of a control freak me thinks!

Also heard that. "Apparently when the number came up on Jordan's phone he didn't even know who it was" shows the lack of communication between Harte and an established player

With Tyrone "Expected" to get to the NFL Division 2 Final (Sunday 24th April) has anyone else heard "Rumours" that the Club Fixtures aren't going to start until the following week. May 1st?????????????

Unfortunately for some ...... I think Karl Lacey's idea on sorting out the fixture problems could only be a matter of time. County Players are classed as "Elite" and are contracted to County commitments and the Club scene continues on without them. Only way to Guarantee club players are Guaranteed regular games

Had a go at naming a 1st choice XV for the NFL below assuming no injuries or suspensions (apart from Ronan McNabb who is more long term injured) – lads in brackets would be back-up options in the 26 man squad

In practice you'd be hoping some of the younger lads get plenty of chances to play e.g. McGeary or Hampsey this weekend if McCarron is suspended or McShane for Sean or Bradley if they're not fit. There's a bit of quality & depth in that squad, would be great to get another midfielder to start alongside Colm & so free up Mattie

And if McGeary or Hampsey were anyway decent they'd move ahead of McCrory for 1st choice corner-back

Morgan (Fox )

McCarron (K McGeary)
McNamee
McCrory (Hampsey)

R Brennan (Sludden)
Justin McMahon (Joe McMahon)
Harte (T McCann)

R Donnelly (C McCann)
C Cavanagh (McNulty)

M Donnelly (HP McGeary)
Bradley
Meyler (McShane)

McCurry (L Brennan)
S Cavanagh
McAliskey

I think you might be missing IMO the best keeper we actually have M O'Neill. Better shot stopper, more confident in the Air, Solid kick outs and therefore no need to depend on Morgan's dreadful free kicks #1OutOf5 #NeverWhenItMatters
