Who got MOTM? Donnelly, Harte, Sludden and O'Neill were probably the pick of the Tyrone players. Givney, Moynagh and Reilly the best on show for Cavan. I

O Neill got it. Him Givney and Cavanagh nominations. Personally I thought Raymond Galligan best player on field.

It was Dessie Dolan and Jarleth Burns deciding. I'm pretty sure I was close to winning it.

I can still see Cavan improving more in the replay, the experience from a tough championship encounter like that should stand to them more and I can't see them taking as many wrong options and kick as many wides again. If they can get an extra few minutes of dominance in each half they can do it.
Both are solid top 8 teams but neither can be a threat to Dublin. They can go far though.

I agree, I quite like Cavan and think they are a tough, tough team to play against and with a few tweaks to their attacking plan could be top drawer. Win or lose the replay I think they should make the AI quarter final and you never know from there.

I know

I wonder has Jack McCaffrey gone to Africa yet?

I know a number of Dublin Division 2 managers have been surprised to see him line-up against them for Clontarf when they thought he was going to be in a different continent!

I'd say he has to finish the term before he goes.

Why does the DUP support Brexit? Does anyone in the DUP understand how the real world works ?

Because they think Brexit will lead to greater separation between NI and RoI and they think that will play well with their base suport
Unionists also tend to vote with their gut and see everything in black and white. Thats why they will vote Brexit at heart the are British Nationalists and intrinisically xenophobic  and economics doesn't come in to it. Forster is one of the worst examples of this type of unionism, First Minister for al my a**e.

Yeah they see it as pulling away from the Republic which should strengthen them... I doubt it.

In reality a fair chunk of the North will vote to stay in expecially Nationalists and a fair chunk of Unionism, I can't see the Farmer's foregoing their single farm payment.

I still expect the status quo to hold although it will be very very close!

Little matter of geography they may be overlooking.

And the UK might break up

Cutting off NI's nose to spite its face

Or even more likely nothing will happen at all.

Harte is right not to speak to RTE.
If the players don't speak to RTE then they are right too.

Exactly, the GFA copper fastened partition indefinitely.Overwhelmingly the people of the south signed away the claim to the whole island, contained in Articles 2 and 3,so "Opening up discussions" on pipe dreams is a complete waste of time.

Articles 2 & 3?
When they were there they meant nothing as they were never acted upon. It seems to me they more now more important when they're gone as bullshitters think they had a role to play.

They were nothing but decoration to Fianna Fail.

I hear the hosts, Dromore, were well beaten today by O'Donovan Rossa's.

Enjoyable game given the conditions, the intensity was very high even if the quality was maybe not great at times. Fair play to Cross, I remember watching them earlier in the season and they barely had 15 men out for most league games. Even their own supporters thought that they might come under pressure to hold onto their county title. However they have grown with each game and have the winning mentality from knowing they have done it all before..

Maybe they have it right. No point in playing football for twelve months when nothing counts in the summer.

my TG4 player froze at 58.34 minutes. Had to check twitter for the result. Gutted I missed it live.

Great result, delighted for Clonmel Commercials

No. I found out I won my first league with a phone call on a Sunday evening.
Second from top team got beat by a lower level team which meant they couldn't catch us.
Some difference in winning that way than in a league final.

Disgrace to have such a high profile game at this time of the year. Unfair on the players and the fans. Terrible conditions!

Yes.
Most club championship football is winter football.
It's shameful.

The problem is that some people actually believe the opposition parties would deliver on all their promises if they were in government. The reality is very different.

Nobody believes that.
