There's great work being done by many clubs in Kildare to promote hurling but the county board have shown their true colours. €75,000 to try and run three inter-county panels is an utter insult to those who are proud to represent the county. Willie Sunderland was doing a fine job with a young panel but it looks like it will all be undone. Interesting to see how the players will react now.

Have you ever been at a game in Newbridge Seafoid?
I'd say your local club spent more on its grounds than the KCB did over the years on theirs.
