You might not think there's any problems with fixtures but there clearly is.

Dublin hurlers played tues, today and if they'd won today had to play again next weekend. Madness playing all these games over a short time. They'll play more games in Jan in cold weather on poor pitches than in July/Aug  when the weather is better and pitches at there best. Madness

It's the "fix the fixtures" element who have forced this. They even want to play the provincial championships in February and March. 5 years ago there were already too many games in January and February. Now we have lost the plot altogether.

its alright looking out at croke park every day and seeing that it is always playable
however, most pitches down the country are not

We take these things seriously!

We're too busy training hard. No time for cakes, just the half a Kit-Kat of a Friday. There's silverware to be won. No doubt an open top bus parade will ensue. When we win.

The BIG DAY has dawned.

While the rest of Leinster looks on jealously the mighty men of Offaly and Longford will battle for one of the GAA's most prized pieces of silverware.

A large crowd expected in Tullamore today so fasten your seatbelts for the game of the season.

Throw in 2.45pm

Congrats to Longford on their 1-12 to 0-11 victory.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Dubs will be worried now. Their grip on Leinster may be at an end  :D

Ah we went easy on ye😜. We said that we'd let ye get ahead of DCU on the roll of honour😬. Seriously though, we were exceptionally poor compared to previous performances, while ye were also denied a blatant point. 1-13 to 11 by right, and deservedly so.

Loosecannon. It's true. Come the start of the dogfight of Div3 next week this will be just a footnote. Offaly came out all guns blazing but then it seemed to fall apart. The two sin bins didn't help.

Look forward to the repeat in 2 weeks time. Get over the visitors from Louth first. Good luck in the League and let's hope both of us are in the shake-up.

Ah well, another season comes to an end.  Very happy to say that 2020 has been a magnificent success for the Larries - will go down in county folklore.  #bihatimber
