TRUE ALRIGHT.

John Terry is England's latest World Cup doubt with foot injury

John Terry: another setback for Capello

Fabio Capello's World Cup finals preparations were hit with another major setback today when John Terry was taken to hospital with a bad blow to his foot that could make the Chelsea captain a doubt for South Africa.

The latest injury to hit the England team, which took place in a Chelsea training session at Cobham, came just one day after Capello named Terry in his 30-man provisional squad in a group of five central defenders who already have serious injury problems. There are enormous doubts over the fitness of Rio Ferdinand and whether Ledley King's chronic knee problems will stand up to the rigours of tournament football.

Terry and Ferdinand are Capello's first-choice pairing to start against the United States in England's first group game on 12 June.

ha ha ha ha ha. But don't think the wags will be out at all. No point them going out for the semi's when the boys will be home after the 2nd round

I'd be disappointed if he misses the World Cup. England tend to exit on penalties and I was hoping JT could give a repeat of his Moscow effort though it wouldn't be as enjoyable as the original.

If he is out I think its a blessing for Capello. He is ripe for a roasting especially at international level and it would be tough for Capello to drop him.

Aint Karma a bitch!

Kind of disappointed myself, seeing Terry crying like a 12 year old girl was one of the things i was looking forward to most about the world cup.  And it would have happened.  Could be a blessing in disguise for England as he has been playing rubbish this season.

John really needs to share the wealth with someone other than his biatches...

The father of Chelsea and England footballer John Terry has admitted supplying cocaine and said he was "embarrassed". Edward Terry pleaded guilty as he appeared before magistrates in Basildon, Essex.

The court was told he supplied the drug to an undercover newspaper reporter in a wine bar in Chafford Hundred in November last year.

Prosecutor Ricky Khagram said Terry had dealt drugs to a News of the World journalist called Dan Sanderson and been paid a total of £160.

Terry's lawyer Neil Saunders said his client had been "targeted" by journalists because he was the footballer's father.

Mr Saunders said his client was "embarrassed" because of the upset caused to his son.

The defendant, 56, of Chafford Hundred, Essex, admitted supplying a class A drug.

Magistrates' chairman John Toplis said sentencing should be decided by a Crown Court judge, not by magistrates.

Terry spoke only to confirm his personal details and enter a guilty plea.

He was released on bail and will be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court on June 1.

Have you lads lost your senses?

There's no better picture in the world than John Terry's face when the final whistle goes after England have been dumped out. Then he'll attack the referee and nut/spit on some lad whilst racially abusing him. Brings out the best in the English.

I'd say John is devasted at the pure hatred, and spitefulness on this thread. Especially from those who swallow absoloutely everything an English paper tells them, and reads everything in forums and assumes it must be true.

The hypocrisy was alive and well last year when not one of the Mancs wanted to comment on Rooney being found guilty of spitting on a reporter....

Hypocrisy is some of these lads middle names Norf.

No doubt what Terry done was wrong and probably is a p***k in real life,I dunno maybe he isn't either,to be honest I couldn't give a shite if he is or isn't,but you would think he was after riding some of these fellas own wifes with the bitterness they are directing towards him, amazing really how lads can get a kick out of a player not going to the World Cup because of something he did in his private life, like really what has it got to do with anything?

FFS he is a great footballer and anyone that thinks otherwise is a fool, but sure then one of the gimps on here also thinks Alan Shearer wasn't a great footballer so that tells us all we need to know about his mentality.
