The Seahawks were upset by the giants in Seattle. The Packers beat the Eagles after a mini scare late in the game.

The Rams beat the Cardinals in Arizona which allowed the vikings to move into the playoff positions. The Vikings had an up and down game against the Jags before coming out on top in overtime, the Vikings made it difficult for themselves.

Decent pressure put on Wilson and even when he did get time, the coverage down field seemed to do ok.

The Jets are playing like a playoff team at the end of the season. They beat the rams last week and are well ahead of the Browns this week.

The NFL's approach to Covid has been shambolic. How they can find a way to rearrange the Ravens game 3 times, but then force the Browns to play is farcical. You can see why there is rightly a bit of uproar amongst the Browns fans.

They made Denver play with no QBs a few weeks ago, they were always playing this one

Yeah but that just reiterates my point. Denver lost their QB trio, and the Browns their whole cohort of receivers pretty much. Why therefore did Baltimore get a game rearranged on numerous occasions to accommodate them?

Exaggeration much. They (barely) beat a team with no receivers and half their offensive line missing.

Haskins released by Washington, back to the strip club for him

The selection committee is corrupt as hell.

Chargers have one of the most attractive HC benches going for a long time and could have their pick of anyone out there. Good roster, plenty of cap room, plenty of draft picks and another 4 years of a budding superstar QB on a cheap contract.

They've asked Jason Garrett to interview...

The Bears were a total shambles last night. Some of their penalties were just unbelievable stupidity.

Some of the officiating over the weekend was shocking.

And that's WITH the benefit of video replay.

Does anyone hold the officials accountable after the game?

Like do they have to justify their decisions?

Some of the decisions were just illogical

thewobbler

If anything the decisions had too much logic.

The NFL is attempting to remove circumstance and understanding from its rules. The problem is, much the same as the PL, the game becomes a more tedious and infuriating product when robots overrule the naked eye, and a less emotional and enjoyable spectacle when officials are not permitted to differentiate between aggressiveness and violence.

Shambles is a bit harsh. Made some really terrible errors, most notably the dropped TD pass that hit Wims between the numbers and the neutral zone infraction on 4th down. That was 11 points with those two mistakes alone. Excellent defense though even with several key starters missing. Just a shame they wasted that much money on Foles when they could/should have got a bit more quality for the offence with that wasted money.
