This is probably a really stupid question but does anyone know is the only real difference between both of these the size? Bf has decided he wants a laptop for christmas and im ripping (prob selfish of me) but i have picked all these things out i wanted to buy him and now he bloody wants a laptop so all the money will be gone on that and wont be able get all the surprises i wanted  . I keep trying to put him off bearing in mind he doesnt even know how to turn on a computer.
Would a netbook do alright? Be good saving id say on a laptop.

Anyone know do wardens pick up dogs about the place if they think they have no home or what? Would they just take a dog if they saw it along the road? And if a dog was knocked down who would lift the body? Would the council do this or would they know if dogs been knocked down?
Our dogs gone since tuesday. Devastated

Probably a stupid question and should probably have an idea but anyway, I have to go to an appointment in the Royal tommorrow but from looking at the map thing i have to go to outpatients centre which seems to be away at far end of it on Grosvenor Road. I was gona park at the Park Centre and walk over is that a bad idea or is there handier place to park etc (imagine the visitors car park would be a nightmare). Any help greatly appreciated cos havnt a clue where im going

Right - this probs sound stupid but anyway here goes

Came into work this morning and things been moved round my desk - like silly things moved into diff places. Went to turn the computer on and it off - checked and plugs all off at wall for only my computer - and they are away behind a filing cabinet so not easy to get at. I was last one out of office yesterday and locked up and opened up this morning - and checked with everyone and noone in here last night so whats the craic 

Anyone ever experienced this or know much about it?
Bf been having probs with snoring and night sweats etc and went to docs today who reckoned this is whats causing it. Booking him into hospital apparently to have tests done or somethin to diagnose properly.
Is it a common thing anyone know? Been googling it and they talk about lifestyle changes etc like losing weight - but he doesnt have any weight to lose

Anyone know any good rubs or anything thats good for this? Its feckin killing me. Back of my neck where it meets my back and towards my shoulder. Had it ongoing for months on end before but it hasnt troubled me in ages - has gradually started coming back over this last few days and getting to be really painful now. Any time i go to docs they just give me painkillers but sure all thats doin is numbing it (if even) for short time!

Soo whos gonna be watching? Everyone gives out about it but most still watch it.

Anyone any idea what would be causing the wireless connection to go off? None of us can access internet on laptops at home, but tis ok from pc. Also when i put in the ip address to the laptop and the router home page came up its saying we are fully connected to internet. Its driving me mad - had no idea how slow this bloody pc is as i havnt used it in ages. There were probs with internet on thurs evening but think it was like that a lot of places locally. Anyone know anything?

Anyone watch this the other night? Just after watching it on iplayer there. Horrifically sad.

Why am i constantly exhausted  .

Prob loads of threads on this but quick one for now. Anyone know why i wouldnt be able to access facebook? Tis only my computer in work that wont bring it up thats how i know it isnt blocked. Every other webpage i put in comes up no problem but when try facebook it keeps saying internet explorer cannot display this page.
Any ideas?

I ate an egg the other morning that was out of date 10 days - im feeling sick all mornin now since i got up - would it come on me 2 days later? Or if ya were gonna be sick from that would it have happened already 

Anyone any idea how ya would replace the back of your phone if it has fell off. Stupid thing is gone and no idea how. Only new phone at xmas too - ya can hardly just buy the back of a phone can u?

Went to sign into my hotmail there and its saying my password is incorrect. So tried it couple more times and still wont let me in. Im so pissed off now - have so much stuff goes to that address 
Went in to try reset my password and my secret question has been changed to whats my childs middle name . What can i do now ? Any way of contacting hotmail

This is prob covered before but i fell and am in agony today with the bottom of my back - top of my arse - tail bone i think it is if there is such a thing. Can hardly walk and if try to get up after sitting down its excrutiating. What would ease it off?

Last week when was driving to work the temp hand in my car just auto started rising like mad so i pulled into filling station where i know the fella and he put water in it for me - he filled it up but now driving this morning it started rising again like mad nearly got to the top - what causing it and would it be a big thing?

There is prob a thread for this but im lazy and its Monday.
Anyway, laptop is about 16 months old, just suddenly turned off and stopped working. Was brought to a computer place who said something about the motherboard - though im not that sure and they said be best to put it in the bin. WTF. Phoned hp and because its out of warranty costing £300 to fix it. Have i any options bar scrapping it and buying new one ?
